Just picked one up @ Walmart online for 599.00 on clearance. Now I will just add upgrades as I see fit and still be way under retail! There are two sellers on the site. I used 5th wheel direct instead of the other vendor.
500w 48v at a full charge of 54v is maxed at 25mph on 27.5. You would need to use a 52v battery to go faster on the 500w hub motor. This means you wouldn't be using the stock battery. If you want to retain the stock battery and go faster then you'd have to change out the hub motor and controller with a faster unit such as 1500w.
