What a darling little village area. Yes indeed this is just the type of area I would love to spend a day! And you have never discovered this yet? So this is a nook 'n cranny you did not know about??? Wow. It is so beautiful over there. And did I hear you say....."have a coffee......a coffee shop"? Coming soon to your London Visited Coffee Channel. Fab!! What a cute Paddington Bear. So English. Wonderful find, Steve. Blessings.
I had never heard of there before. It looks like such a nice place. Lots of interesting little shops to look at. So many famous people for such a small area.

Hi there, Yes I was aware of Connaught Village. I’m in the habit of seeking out London addresses where famous people live, and in so doing I discover some very beautiful hidden away areas. I was visiting Connaught Square to look at the home of Tony Blair when I discovered this little collection of shops.
Why do you find it sad in winter? I assume it’s because there are few people around, but I think it is marvellous to find places in London where there are few people around, generally there are too many people everywhere!
So much of London used to be like this. And no, it wasn't Hitler who destroyed them all. Neighbourhoods like this used to make London a wonderful place. No longer.
What a lovely little area, I have never heard of it before. Thank you for posting.

That’s a little gem, as you say quiet given its location. Another one on the list for my next visit to London. 😊

Connaught is pronounced with a hard "ght".
