Have you heard anything re timing for the release of the new AM/FM/SSB McKinley for the US? Do you know if it will retain the Weather Channel and Alert feature? I saw a forum post that Weather was being removed from the new McKinley to make room for the FM info on the screen, but most of the new AM/FM CBs from President for the US have retained the Weather feature. I've reached out directly to President with these questions but have not been able to get a response. Lastly, your site offers an upgrade option for the McKinley that permanently disables the 24V power supply so as to double the 12V power. Could you please elaborate as to what specifically this modification entails, how it will benefit performance, and why your site only offers it for the McKinley and not the other 12V/24V President radios? There are a lot of additional menu options on the McKinley, so we didn't cover them all. But yes, there is an RF gain control. If you watch the first few seconds on the video, in the bottom right you'll see MIC/RF Gain under the F/MEM button. The RF gain and Mic gain are both secondary functions of this button.
I have FM on my McKinley but I had to order it from a European dealer and get it shipped across the pond to here in Canada! Cost a bit more but it's worth it! LOL
Yes it does have Rf gain and swr adjustment and it is pretty good like the cobra 29 swr adjustment

Does this radio not have an RF game in it this is the second video discovered all of the menu functions but not touched on RF gain
