Through nearly 2 years I have collected timelapse footage of the vivid and very charming city Aarhus in Denmark. Only then, I was sure to have enough quality footage to produce this film - the third on I’ve done of Aarhus. My idea was to show both the small hidden corners and the new famous architecture in a dynamic and emotional way, reflecting the city of Aarhus.
I have pushed my personal timelapse photography to a new level, and the learning process I’ve gone through during the last few years is invaluable. Reflecting back at the thousands of hours I've spent on this film and looking at the skills I’ve built up, I can now say that my timelapse work has gotten its own unique style and touch.

I moved abroad many years ago, and will probably live abroad for many years to come, but I know in my heart that one day I will return to Aarhus - and I can't wait.
I was in the city long ago... In 1995... In the film it looks different than in those times! It has become even more attractive!!!!! It was very nice with its special atmosphere, but now...!!! I really would like to visit such a city again and to breathe its such a modern atmosphere!
Even since I moved to Aarhus in 2012, a lot has changed. A whole new city part has emerged. Fun to imagine the city and atmosphere long time back. Hope to welcome you back some day.

Wow some amazing shots! How did you use to do the time lapses so smoothly ?

@@creative_explained No drones are actually used :) I mostly shoot hyperlapses from a high view point to achieve the drone effect. I mostly use a tripod or monopod with 1.6 - 3.2 sec exposures and very thoroughly stabilize the footage i AE.

Nice colour in the video! Music is fitting but not overwhelming and used very smart together with the editing!
What i miss personally is a little story that ties it all together, you know so it's not just random clips of the city :) otherwise pretty good work mate!

Super fed video, lækre shots du har fået af Aarhus. Ville ønske du også havde filmet lidt af Frederiksbjerg og Marselisborg. De to områder er virkelige vigtige for hele Aarhus, og har en vanvittig stemning som man også kan få lækre billeder og timelapse af. Forresten overvejer måske lidt at spare op til et Sony A7R2, ved du noget om det kamera?
