Man you gotta get you some modern French irons.. I use the Kevin lee's you'll be able to go all the way through that thin leather without without having to go back with a awl..
Hi John! Many thanks for your suggestion, I was planning on going for a pair of Amy Roke until I saw the Kevin Lee ones. I rarely use pricking irons, rather tend to use more the chisels but indeed there are some projects that look way better with a finer detail that only a pricking iron can give you. I’ll definitely check them out and hopefully make a video using them soon! Thanks again and Best Regards!
