I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. ➡️ It's funny but these night drives thru the woods are relaxing and unnerving at the same time. There's no way in hell I'd drive alone thru a remote forest at night, so it creeps me out to watch, but at the same time Posts soothing commentary and the rumble of the truck are super relaxing❤

😊What a great night drive! I’ve driven roads near Hockomock swamp at night, coming home from church meetings, that I thought were desolate. Hah!
This brought back memories of drives home to the homestead in Colorado. Gravel road until we turned at a corner of barbed wire into pasture. Slip the wire from top of post, lift from bottom loop, and drag fence to one side-drive through, then put things back. Drive thru pasture a mile or two on the tire ruts, then open fence again to our place.
Completely different, no woods or beavers but the aching loneliness of the drive and the immensity of it all.

Wow, that’s a spooky looking, narrow road with no street lights and just the moon in the sky. Imagine if the car battery died - hope you keep at least a flashlight in the vehicle. I swear I saw bigfoot 🦶, a werewolf 🐺 some nut hiding behind a tree 🔩,and oh, a rabbit 🐇!

This road trip feels a bit like my week. Only this one is peaceful rather than long and draining. It’s a nice and much-needed break from the long slog I’ve been on. Thank you! 🙂
The best part about a full moon a really good on a cloudless night it allows you to move around very easily specially in the open without any kind of light I like to find back roads a little to no traffic and cruise

Could you just get some of your own pond water and look at that under the microscope? Would be awesome to see what’s in there.
I don’t like hunting, especially just for pleasure, for a freaking kinda fun. If it’s a question of life n death, then, of course, in this situation I myself would’ve hunted too.
Also, for me, there’s a difference between a big animal like bear or moose and for example a duck.
There's a difference with how many there are, moose is almost an endangered species but deer are everywhere
