- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. When you were driving through the Salisbury MD area, you were about an hour away from where I live. Whenever we go south we take that route, down over the Chesapeake bridge-tunnel. It sure beats the alternative of I-95 through the DC/ Fredericksburg VA route. If you ever get around the Maryland area again, we would be happy to have you spend the night so you wouldn’t have to sleep in your truck in a parking lot. You are a good guy and I enjoy your videos. Stay safe out there!

I’m not sure if you are aware of this but, when you went to the train wreck in Ohio..you was very close to a county in western pennsylvania, Named Beaver County..in it is towns named Beaver, and Big Beaver, Beaver Falls the Beaver River, little beaver.
And it gets lots of rain and flooding in the area , with the Ohio River running through beaver county.. and hundreds of tributaries, you maybe should consider a visit..

My husband and I took this route when we started our cross country trip. We had to go south before we headed west because it was winter when we got on the road. An unforgettable trip that left me with a lot of good memories.
He unfortunately passed in 2020 thanks to “the” virus and I could not be with him. But that’s another story. I am enjoying the scenery and remembering the good times. Thanks for taking us along. ❤️

@@judil3294 It’s a whole new ball game for sure. I wasn’t planning to start over from zero at this stage of my life. Right now it’s a pretty hard road (I went back to school full time) but I do know all my efforts will bring long term results. My mantra is, “Get up, show up and do the work”.

Who is supposed to be doing it look extremely bad, especially the video of them admitting on camera that a bunch of people's houses were getting flooded for over 10 years because of a beaver dam they wouldn't remove
Beaver Dam after 10 years was removed within a week after my video went up because there was so many complaints

Commenting before I see you go to tunnel. It's 17 miles long, it's a bridge - tunnel- bridge - tunnel. The maintenance takes a yoeaftom one end to the other. So it's continuance. It's us a bit expensive, but there's a lot of bridge/ tunnel to maintain. 😊 LOVING 💙💙💙 thus ride, Post.

Wait!! You didn't tell us how far you went! The CBBT drops you out in VA, did you get as far as NC? I also want to thank you for the drive over the bridge and through the tunnels. When you look at the bridge from an aerial standpoint, it's cool to see that it looks like the bridge just ends at the water. I've taken the CBBT a couple of times, and it does feel like forever going across, but seeing the water always allowed me to take a few moments to reflect. Thanks for not fast-forwarding through that part of your journey, it was a bitter-sweet trip down memory lane that has a special place in my heart. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I don't believe I'll have the opportunity to take the trip again myself. ❤ Thanks for sharing.

We live in Maryland very close to the Chesapeake Bay, my husband loves to fish at the bridge for Rockfish/Striped Bass. We got a lot of rain and some wind but overall it wasn’t too bad.

I heard that the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel gift shop and restaurant is closed to the public because of the project of making a southbound tunnel for both tunnel but they couldn't get enough permits for the project so it now halted. The seagull Fishing pier was supposed to open up in 2024 but I don't think it's going to open up for a long time.

That bridge and tunnels were just mentally taxing. I drove over one going to Miami and it scared the hell out of me , so much so that I asked my sister to drive for the return journey . It wasn’t as long as that so I don’t know how you did that . I kept shutting my eyes whilst watching as it was giving me the same feeling I had before . It’s the fact that there is the sea on either side and you can’t see the end so your fingers get tighter and tighter round the wheel and the amount of concentration needed is exhausting.

Thank you for the drive over/through the Bridge-Tunnel. Usually, I'm too focused on the road to see the little details, like the tiles, the waves, and the fact that each tunnel leg has a different name. That was fun.
Been on this bridge and tunnel a few times it is great to see without driving

As someone from the Netherlands it's so weird seeing the American roadsystem. There's just no place to ride a bike and the big road is just in the frontyard of people's home's. No sidewalks or anything
That's usually in rural areas.
Cities have sidewalks. And motorists dont have much respect for bicycles here, although its getting better. The distances are MUCH greater than you are used to, i think- some counties in America are bigger than the Netherlands itself! Lol

Cool😊 we don’t have drains here. Everything flows naturally into small washes, and then into bigger washes, then into rivers, then dries up dry as a bone lol.
