Why is that African - Carribean descendants are defined as "Black" ???. Black is s just a colour and not a continental or a nation ??? People of the sub-Continent i.e Pakistan, India, Bangladesh are refered to Asians. This does not make sense so why aren't they define as Africans descent but not black.
Because Africans and Carribeans if you want to describe them under one umbrella the only way you can do that is by defining as black. If you call a Carribean an African they won't accept that definition for themselves. However Pakistanis,Indians and Bengalis are all from asia. All were one country about 75 years ago. How can we prevent it from happening? Why Is it that a kid who is not gang affiliated feels the need to carry a knife? I also agree that parents can do better to guide their children, although with that being said, even innocent children are being stabbed to death. So the key word here is POVERTY. Rich kids aint stabbing each other or selling drugs. We need to stop pointing our fingers at particular ethnic backgrounds and actually get to the bottom of this shit.
Just watched your documentary about Newham that showed you youngsters know shit about Newham. I lived off Green street and Barking road most of my nearly 60 years and none of that racist fuckery about West Ham fans hardly ever happened. Well once in the 80s and once in the 90s both with Millwall. I’m a black man and none of my friends or family never had problems with fans on match days as much as I hate West Ham , being an Arsenal supporter. You should have interviewed proper grown-ups instead of saggy-batty 18 year old road men/ boy soldiers who just got here from Somaliopia and talk to real Newham people like Whites, Caribbean’s and Asians. I’m so glad to be successful enough to be out of Newham if all the young people there only know grime artists and road men. A Cut Above The Rest ✂️ PEACE

Good job bruv! Newham council is full of corruption and lack of accountability. The children's lives are messed up from School, Newham failed in their educational system; funds are limited, lack of adequate support for children with additional needs, expecially ADHDs. They diagnose children from other races promptly and support them on time, whilst they neglect and profile black children, tagging them as disruptive and challenging behaviour. There is no such thing as challenging behaviour, but they chose this language so they can neglect these children, these children get worse, finding it difficult to stay in school. If the School fails them, they find solace on the street - in gangs. Newham need to invest in their schools and stop racially profiling black children, recruit outstanding teachers and train your old teachers if and when necessary. Stop profiling black children in Schools - educate your teachers.
Don't blame teachers blame the black parents for not doing their job of bringing up their kids properly. Teachers already have a hard enough job without having to be social workers.
