14 years later, this still kicks Nightmare King butt! ❤
I remember this game as a little kid. Making it to the very end. I never beat the final boss. Years passed. I come back to this game, an adult. My senses sharpened with many other games played after my defeat, before this moment. I felt like the child with the wooden sword, defeated by the dragon, left to live. Years later, to return, an adult, wielding an ancient sword of forgotten kings... back for round two... And inevitably victorious... The music here is a good testament to those emotions.
The tunes in this game, man, so well written.

Glad to see you all dig the cover song. I'm not fond of the intermissions either but I did this in about 4 hours to meet the DoD contest deadline. I plan on doing this cover again this year. Expect some more material to come out by the summer!

Considering this is one of my favorite NES games of all time.. (Personally taking out Mega Man 2 and Ducktails)
This game has spawned so much in my life... I know that sounds odd for a NES game, but it's what got me into Lucid Dreaming and sparked my entire life long love affair with gaming.
Thanks for posting this epic remaster/remix.

@sig519 Dwelling of Duels, the site where the link is hosted, is currently down.
They are still investigating the problem with the site, so it should be up within some time. But it has been more than 2 months since the site was down, and 1 month since the announcement, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'll post a link with an uncompressed version of the song if the site is not up by the end of August.

@sig519 Use UA-cam Downloader (google it) to download the mp4, then use the same program to convert it to an mp3 once the file has downloaded.
