Along with the other issues, I found the scripting in this game to be even less subtle than in FIFA. Nearly every game, a player would glitch and teleport into an opposing player to commit a foul around 70-80 minutes in, and the AI always scored in the top corner with the free kick that followed.
Thats why console players are frustrated..the mobile version now has lot of scripting. and i m mobile player i saw this and i felt like it's just little changes but the gameplay feels like mobile version already.
PES 2021 was decent enough... How did they downgrade this far?
They decided to go free-to-play and have in-game micro transactions just like all those mobile games. Zzz

PES needs to improve because if FIFA get a monopoly, they are NEVER going to improve their many flaws. Or another competitor needs to appear, of course.

There may be some hope for a new competitor. There's a game in development called UFL (United Football League). We literally don't know anything about it yet. They have partnered up with West Ham, and are sponsoring Hashtag United this season, but we don't even know when it will be released or what it'll look/play like yet, all we can do is keep an eye on it and hope that it's alright.
It wont, no company can rival EA's monopoly. A football game will never be popular without any licensing.

One thing I really love about pes is the player movement on the ball. You can really feel realistic. Wish fifa wasn’t as “skaty”
Pes 21 was a good competitor to Fifa 21, even better in many ways. this train wreck of a game isn't even close to any of that. a shame though cause now EA have complete monopoly of the football genre. that means higher prices and lower effort.
Why they had to do this? They changed the engine and the game play too... i m mobile version player and i saw this and this feels like it already.... Mobile version has lot of scripting and people are already frustrated by that.

@@matti_reI heard this year fifa is improved in terms of gameplay the new hyber motion technology is really good and everyone is saying they improved it from last year. Pes just compromised the console version to get the game running on mobile too. They even said mobile gaming is future and they will focus on mobile i read it somewhere. But yeah play pes 21 and need season update soon in that.. I guess no one is gonna play efootball. And yeah its free but they will probable get the money back from in game purchase if people buys stuff in that.

Can’t get why this game is getting such a slating 🤔 yeah there are a few glitches here n there but I’ve played fifa games which were a lot worse than this, appalling… yet look at all the fanboys that still bought it 😂 seems to me that the majority of people giving it a bad name are fifa fan boys or everyone else are being sheep and agreeing that it’s bad without even playing it 🤷🏻♂️ I played it for the first time without seeing/hearing a single review and I thought it was pretty good considering it’s been made from scratch.
