    The river question: Which is the Largest river in Asia? Is it Longest or largest? In terms of water volume when the Ganges and the Bhramaputra meet in Bangladesh that would be the largest volume of water. The Longest rive in Asia would be the Yangtze in China.

    • @MrSudeepdas
      @MrSudeepdas Рік тому +4

      She meant Yangtze I believe. You are correct it should be rephrased as longest.
      And you are on point about Padma in Bangladesh. Basically major section of the Ganges flows out East from my state, West Bengal, and meets Brahmaputra, coming from Assam in the north, in Bangladesh. That river system is called Padma.

    It would be helpful and informative if you even slightly elaborated upon the answers. For example, when saying that the longest river in Asia is located in China, you could also add what the name of the river is: the Yangtze. And when saying that the reciprocal of 1/2 is 2, you could easily explain what a reciprocal is: just flipping the fraction upside-down.
    That would make this a lot more enjoyable to go through. As it is, it's very dry.

      A lot can go into what we call "guessing". Sometimes you know something subconsciously because you came across it at some point but are not aware of it and think you guessed. Other times we use logic to deduce. For example "Lena" sounded Russian to me. That's a sign of general knowledge.

      Agreed, I was frequently distracted by the poor diction, and pronunciation. But a bit of fun, all the same. We’re obviously all here because we enjoy testing our general knowledge, and that we did, is unarguable. Notwithstanding our desire to waste further time discussing our collective experience. So a win for this UA-camr, I’d say.

    The question about the kind of Japanese rice was strange. Takoyaki = fried rice, Gohan = rice or meal, Nigiri = rice ball. So, they are all kinds of rice, and the second answer is not exclusively correct.

      Tv was invented pretty much at the same time in UK, USA and Germany. Baird is credited in the UK, his system was in any case better than the Farnsworth system. The German system may have been most advanced. Germany had TV broadcasts from the 1936 Olympic games.
