Gordo in Tirisfal Glades that gathers weeds for an apothecary is cool too! (he doesn't remember which type of weed to gather so he tasks you the adventurer, it's so funny)
Shout-out to Buttons the tiny abomination you can find in Torghast. Always liked the interaction between him and his creator where they shout each other's names. "Mraaaazz!" Made those tower runs a bit more enjoyable anyway 😅
I remember back in Vanilla I had a friend who was a level 40 paladin who needed something that I could make her as an alchemist but it needed kingsblood. So she stood guard over me while I picked flowers. And then the emote/yell came and she exclaimed "STITCHES!" and ran off. Leaving a very puzzled me to be eaten by wolves and spiders because I was only level 12 lol. She was just thrilled because she was of a level to actually attack Stitches, and also paladin because smite. It wasn't until I quested in Darkshire myself before I was blindsided by him on the road for the first time. Damn Stitches lol.
I still remember my first time questing there and seeing one of them one shot someone who got too close. I made sure to avoid them until I was on when they were passing each other and nearly everyone in the zone came tearing over to take them down. I guess we all had the head quests and it made for some wonderful laggy fun.
Those two were my first experience with Elite mobs as a lowly noob back in Cataclysm. I was fighting with all my might through Ghostlands, just trying to level my Warlock at a time when I had no idea what I was doing. I saw the quest that wanted me to kill them, when I was 3 levels or so below the suggested level. I didn't pay heed to this "Suggestion". After all, they're just mobs, right? I kill mobs all the time! So, I tried killing them. And I died. Then I tried again. And I died. Repeating this 37 times, before giving up but swearing on my still very much alive mothers grave, that I would return and enact my revenge once I had levelled WELL PAST their level. And so I did. Months upon months later, as a fresh level 85 I returned and i CURBSTOMPED THOSE BASTARDS OVER AND OVER! No one on the Karazhan server was completing that quest that day. They were NOT allowed to live. So yea, I missed them on this list.
@@mathiassvendsen9788 I totally feel that need for revenge. I did the same with that damn fel reaver lurking around when you hit Hellfire Peninsula in Outlands.
Doing this quest in TBC was my first introduction to group gameplay in wow back in the day. I still have it in my mind the whole experience. Wiping and wiping and losing members and finding new ones and finally after many attempts doing it. Best memories man
Wow, Crendor. You really put the "wow" in "wowcrendor" with such consistent uploads. I mean I literally think "Wow, Crendor!" every time. Thanks for years of entertainment :]
Stitches is by far the most well known Abomination, so much so that he's the representative for the... 'class', or more specifically WC3 unit I guess, for Heroes of the Storm. Among the first characters in the game. They add character stand-ins for the older strategy game units of Warcraft and Starcraft, who better than Stitches for Abominations.
I thought for sure you'd include that one abomination in Zul'Drak you do a quest for while disguised as a ghoul. He's a unique food vendor you can only talk to while on that quest as far as I know, and his food inventory is unique to him as he sells scourge food. I love that guy.
No Flytrap?! That is outragous! But I guess, if people never played much in Maldraxxus and didn't chose the Necrolord covenant, they will never meet Flytrap, and see how precious he was. Especially before we had Pathfinder/ Flying in Shadowlands. He singlehandedly carried, literally, being a Necrolord.
That was a long time ago. The alliance would complain on the forums because it would break stealth with their fart clouds. Blizzard's solution was to remove the fart cloud and give all cities elite guards that can see through stealth and net you.
I did not really get into WoW until TBC, but when my friends tried to get me into it during vanilla, I had made a human warlock on their account, was leveling in Elwynn forest and died. But it for some reason sent me to a graveyard in Duskwood. I'd been playing for less than an hour, had no idea you could go back to your body to rez, so I talked to the spirit healer and took the rez sickness. I was freaking out though, bodies hanging from trees, and super spooky compared to where I had just been. I finally found a town and as I was running towards it, Stiches stood between me and the town. I aggro'd him, and was one shot killed. Back at the spirit healer, I just decided that WoW wasn't for me. Thankfully I gave it another go 2 years later and became addicted to it horribly.
On the topic of the first guys as well, in the Necrotic Wake before Stitchflesh there are mini-bosses Goregrind and Rotspew, and with them are 3 additional adds simply called "Goregrind/Rotspew Leftovers" so those little abombinations are literally whatever materials the Maldraxxans had left and they just threw together a little dude so to not waste any parts. Kind of endearing when you really think about it.
5:46 The book is only located in the instanced version of the Acherus in the DK starting zone above the Scarlet Enclave. Once you go to the Plaguelands, the book seems to disappear. Corpulus stands in one place during the DK opening quests; the book is behind him on a table.
7:35 #3 Margrave Gharmal reminds me a lot of Therazane, the Stonemother from Deepholm. It looks kind of like they edited Therazane's model to look less rocky and more fleshy.
My most memorable abominations were Knucklerot and Luzran. I was playing WoW for free to unlock Liadrin portrait in Hearthstone, and killing those two were the first time I had to team up with other players. After defeating them we all went to our jolly separate ways, but to this day I remember that better than many of the actual raids I played.
It had to be Stitches. The numerous times you see the pop-up in hardcore of some 25-30 guy dying to him and people running around warning others to stay off the road. Almost lost my warrior when he came out of nowhere once. Also was in Heroes of the Storm as the "tanky guy with skillshot ability that pulls enemy towards you" guy.
Was just playing through the Twilight Highlands yesterday (I know, cata content, shocker), and going throught the thundermar/firebeard wedding quest chain, came across the dwarf bard you compose the wedding song with, made me wonder if there's potential for a PT10: Bards/Musical Npcs? Keep up the awesome work, your content actually got me back into WoW, and my son loves these vids as well, he actively quotes the intro at random points in the day 😆
Man I miss oldskool Stitches when elite mobs were actually elite, where you could make him spawn and have him rip the town up, then (i think?) drop the quest and do it again. Good times.
Back when I first started in WotLK, there used to be whole groups of people making 5-Man and small raid groups to kill Stitches. I did it, a lot of my old guildies did it. Fun times.
Good top 10! I was going to complain about Patchwerk not being #1 but Stitches is a good choice, even though I haven't encountered him as much, being a horde player mainly.
I am glad Stitches was #1, it made sense with how iconic he is, especially with the release of hardcore WoW, I imagine a lot of people lost toons to him. Stitches was the reason why you no longer wanted to trust roads while questing. Random tangent, but when Crendor mentioned how Stitches was the OG Fel Reaver, I remember leveling up my first toon back in Burning Crusade, hearing a loud roar, I was like "what was that?" I turned around and there it was, I took off like a bat out of hell.
Fun lore tidbit, but the Undercity Guardians were actually removed when Garrosh became Warchief due to the events of the Wrathgate, and replaced by his own Kor'Kron Elite guards. Once he was deposed at the end of MoP, Sylvanas brought the old abomination guards back.
If I remember right, Corpulous's book is only available during some phases of the old DK starting quests. At different phases there are numerous books to read, giving you more DK lore.
"Who goes to Maldraxxus anyway?" hard to find truer words about the whole expansion. I'm a bit saddened that Ray-Getz and Kalaba was killed off, they could've been interesting opponents players in a revamped Hillsbrad. Corpulus' book is hillarious. Stitches at #1 is a given, we literally help make the guy, and the creator is still alive in the lore, so he could resew Stitches into something even more grotesque! What other creepy top 10 can we see this October? Deathknights, ghosts or necromancers?
Was about to go to sleep but thought, "I'll watch a UA-cam video first. But oh, I hope I can find something interesting that's not too long or heavy." And what pops up first? Thank you.
Do a "Top 10 Griefer Mobs", the mobs Blizzard just dropped in a zone for shits and giggles to gank players. Son of Arugal, Fel Reaver, Stitches, Alliance Outrunners, etc.
you should do a map pinpoint picture for everything.. some of these places i cant even remember which expansion they were in much less which continent.. lol i love these videos it brings back alot of fun memories from playing 2004-2020
Maldraxxus stands for honor in battle, i quested there with the enthusiasm of a 6yo that gets what they wanted for christmas Also Thrall finally meeting Draka, foiling Kel'Thuzads plans again and meeting Alexandros was soooooo worth it
But there IS an abomination smaller than bitsy but you probably forgot him cuz he was part of torghast that most of us would rather forget. Buttons. Mraaz’s abomination pet

I think Patchwerk is also used nowadays when calculating DPS to convey that the DPS is calculated to perfect circumstances, not taking into account other mechanics and stuff. Or maybe the term already existed and so they called him that, but I still don't know wether the chicken or the egg came first so don't quiz me on that.
Aww .. missed Thadius :( After Lordaeron defences fall, innocent women and children masacred were stiched togather into one, huge monster... the souls are still trapped and fused togather, screeming at you in Naxx

MRAAAAZZZ!
You forgot to mention that since Stitches creator is called Abercrombie, combined they are "Abercrombie & Stitches". Which is just brilliant.
I appreciate that you gave a little shoutout to Shadow Lands for being creative with the environments, creatures, and overall art design.

Hell yeah dude. This one rocked my face. Tolkien references, Patchwork and Stitches. Well done man

Surprised Thaddius wasn't mentioned, he's pretty iconic too - eh, maybe part 2 :D
Awesome 😎👍
Would Thaddeus not count in this? Giant Abomination boss of patched together humans and their souls. He even thanks you for killing him in the raid.
THADDIUS !!!

Maybe Bitsy is made from the corpses of children. Would make sense with the size.
would also be really dark, but thats not new to wow.

OMG he pronounced Rammstein right!
And:
Where is Thaddius :(
When top 10 fell reavers?
Where are those pighead abomination from Drustvar? They definitely should be in the list, especially the boss from Waycrest Manor.
Aber Crombe made Stitches (Abercrombie & Fitch refrence)
#1 had to be first. Great choice!
W list
They also have dump trucks
Thank you cren friend. My favorite part about Sundays.
Dude imagine being a warrior whose soul gets sent to maldraxxus, only to get stuffed in some tiny malformed leftovers lmaooooo
Wow, those updated aboms look terrible...
Classic ones were better
Also, would Thaddius count as an abomination?
I think the number one abomination is, what they did to paladin class.

1 - Aug Evoker
Me sad you no put Gordo on list... Gordo just wants to pick Gloomweed
Justice for Gordo

According to my search you haven't done pointless top 10 fences. Can that be right?
And #1 is Blizzard's Executive Board.
No Knucklerot & Lurzan love? :(
Blizzard should of kept classic naxx 😢
