Well pointed out, Andrew. I have already sent feedback to CEntrance that they did not follow through with the tactile advantage of their interfaces to its logical conclusion. Whilst it is easy to learn and operate the knobs without looking, the same cannot be said for the tiny recessed switches - nor, as you have just pointed out, the USB ports.

The PasPort VO is bus powered, so no battery to charge. I do have to say in Michael's defence the amount of real estate available makes some of these decisions for you as we discovered when we were designing the PasPort VO, the circuit board inside it is totally nuts! Having said that the two USB C ports on the MicPort Pro can catch you out as it did me.

Wait. How about centrance correct this at the “screening” stage of the manufacturing? When they apply the labels on the enclosure? A little braille “dot” would be nice…
Also, does that interface compare to the ssl favorably? Specs difference? EAR difference? I’m considering adding that to the road kit instead of hauling my id14 around ( I know, I know))

Hey David, the MicPort Pro is perfect for travel and the sound is great. It's hard to compare it to the SSL sound wise as it's hard to really hear any major difference, but for convenience it's on its own. The MicPort Pro is my go to travel interface along with the Austrian Audio CC8.
