Saw the Nuge "open" for Kiss in Minneapolis, he absolutely blew them off the stage. We were all chanting: Ted - Ted - Ted during the Kiss performance. Wanted him back, cant get enough of this!! Long live the MotorCity madman!!
7:19 Would've loved to see that!!!!! Saw him many, many times!!!!! 1st time 1977, in Columbus municipal auditorium, GA. Municipal auditorium Nashville,TN.1979.
Because Ted's beliefs don't align with the political correctness of the R&R HOF committee. I'm sure, if Ted were to ever be inducted, he'd take a hard pass on it.
I saw him on his last tour, August 10th 2023 in the Rose Music Center in Dayton Ohio. All I can say is I wish I was old enough to have seen him more and in his prime!
I can’t even remember how many times I saw Ted on this tour. My buddy and I followed the tour for 3 months that year. Had a bunch of (TNUSA) meetings with Ted back stage. It was a good summer. For those that don’t know, that’s Mike Lutz from Brownsville station on bass. Awesome guy.
Saw Ted for the first time on the penatrator tour! Saw this tour in Cleveland. Great to have had Mr.StHolmes on this album and tour! World Bow Hunter's forever!!!
Thank you, had no idea who the drummer was. Brownsville Station was a fun band. Saw this tour in Fargo, ND. Bad Company ( without Paul Rodgers) opened the show.
If this isn't Rock and Roll someone will have to define it for me! A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that doesn't include Ted Nugent SHOUL NOT EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr. Nugent is the original guitar HERO!
Master class in guitar playing. Most guitar players mute strings. Master guitar players turn off the volume on a pickup they are not using, while still playing. Then switch to that pickup to kill the note. Switch right back to keep playing. While they are playing they change the volume on the other pickup and effortlessly switch to that pickup. Sometimes they switch pickups just for a second to change the tone for just one note. Watch free for all closely, then pay attention to the master class. Hey Baby 24:30 to the end of the song. Changing tone every riff till the end of the song. MASTER CLASS!
You are absolutely correct. I am a born and raised Detroit Rock City Guitar Madman myself. I learned when I was 10 yrs old from Mr. Ted Nugent. Keep Rockin' my friend! 👍🤘🎸
@Mebucko Yes you are right Mebucko. To a certain extent. You are referring to Ted Nugent. My Middle finger in the air, fellow Detroit guitar player. I know his playing well. His Gibson Birdland, which has a sound of its own to begin with, he mutes his notes constantly while switching the toggle switch from pickup to pickup, from playing the rhythm to the lead, depending on the song. "Hey Baby" which is played in the Key of the E major note scale, is also backed up by Derek St. Holmes on rhythm guitar. He doesn't turn off the volume of the pickup after switching to it, he lowers the treble and the bass knobs, at times to control the feedback he wants, then he will play with the volume controls. I have played this song many times over the years. I don't call myself a Master class guitar player, but if someone else does, that is up to them. But there is nothing that I cannot play on the guitar. I loved your comment. Keep Rockin' my friend.👍🤘🎸
Saw Ted a couple times in the 70s, and got hearing damage. Haven’t seen him since and this show really rocks. Great starting the show with Journey to the center of the mind.
@shawbruce, Americans are the indigenous people, you are the English, and the Irish and the Spanish, as always Europeans invaded other continents, enslaved them, raped their women, stole the gold from their lands and even forced them to be slaves...
I saw Ted at the Santa Monica Civic Center years ago. Guns and Roses opened. They were booed off the stage. Everyone wanted to see Ted. Does anyone have as much fun as this man?
Nuge is a rock-n-roll showman. He lives life to his code. I am sure he gets a huge belly laugh from the detractors who never stood on a stage or those who cast their demons upon him. Thank you Ted, for all you do…
I'm a spaniard, live in the Canary islands, lived 5 whole years in Houston and Boston, full patriot spaniard but half my heart belongs in the US. Go USA stand strong!! Come united again!! Uncle Ted!! come to Tenerife por favor!!!
Ted had his final tour last summer 2023. He still does one off shows. I saw in York, PA is July 2024. I will see him again Sept 13th 2024 in OC, MD. I believe these are his only official shows so far this year 2024.
I saw Ted on this tour with The Chris Duarte Group and Bad Company was the headliner. It was my first rock concert in Houston, TX. at the Woodlands Pavillion.

Bad Company. The Kiss shows were the first round of Farewell shows and then the Psycho Circus tour I believe. I remember that one distinctly because Derek was not on the tour with him but did sit in on the Atlanta date, which I was there for that one.
