The Chinese food looked gorgeous. Best dollar stores as you Americans say are Primark and Home Bargains for gteat value. St.Georges hall is the place to visit..easily one of the worlds best buildings. A law court with Victorian cells in a concert hall and civic hall all in one. Charles Dickens gave his first recital of "a Christmas Carol" here. We have 2 cathedrals which is unusual..one being the Countries biggest and worlds longest. The worlds first skyscraper. Worlds first train passenger journey from Liverpool..worlds oldest and biggest docks . Worlds oldest train station still in use and a million other worlds firsts.
It's so sad that your first sporting event to see in Liverpool had to be a quidditch match (we don't all do that)... but I'm glad you're enjoying our city! (the river is called the Mersey) Good vlog!
Meg Mosenthal it’s absolutely amazing living in there because you meet people from all around the world. They’ve become some of my closest friends and we still keep in touch years later. It’s really easy to see them and chill around the little study abroad area as well. They also have representatives that host events or parties so it never gets boring. Good luck!
Yes pedestrians have right of way but on motorways no. Large portions not good for you anyway have a great time.
thanks for this video! i’m going to study abroad at the university of liverpool next semester as well so it was really helpful :)

It's so interesting hearing about Liverpool from an outsider's perspective, I just take it all for granted but the city really is incredible
nice video - welcome to Liverpool i love it
The "channel" as you call is is the River Mersey which is pronounced with more of a a z sound in place of the s if you want to get the dialect right.
Thanks for the vid! I’m hoping to do an exchange in Liverpool next year... how was your experience in the study abroad village?
