  • When weight gain is stress related extra fat is placed in the belly area. This is the most dangerous place to accumulate fat and is a risk factor for many diseases. While generally it’s true we can’t target reduce fat, studies have shown that HIGH INTENSITY workouts (especially interval training) do burn belly fat as long as they are coupled with a calorie deficit. The problem is, those of us with adrenal fatigue are often exercise intolerant when it comes to high intensity workouts. One intense workout could put us in bed for several days.
