Founded in 1947, the airline was originally called Katafaga Estates by Harold Gutty, but was renamed to Air Pacific in 1958 and then FIJI Airways in 2012. They now operate a fleet consisting of A350-900s (2), A330-300 (1), A330-200s (3), B737-800 (1), B737 MAX 8s (5).

Sometimes it is not. They cancelled my boarding pass when I was willing to pay for 2kg hand luggage even though my total weight was under. Thanks to flight Centre Sydney who got me back on air

I did Fiji in 1989. Flew Melbourne to Nadi I on a Qantas 747-200. Those were the days. An actor from Neighbours was on board and stayed at the same resort as me. Nice man. Genuine. Cheers.
