the soundwave attack deals flat damage ignoring the armor, so technically if you can outheal it, the armor is useless, just don't get smacked

All Chief had to do was build up 30-40 block in the air , because the wardens sonic scream only works if your within a 30 block radius, so once you build up the warden cannot kill you, so from there you just kill it with arrows.
Chief really said "Yeah if I win make me a millionaire" and you know what I'm here for it!

I stumbled upon how to do it in survival while fighting it with iron armor actually. I got hit zero times total once I implemented my strat. Basically you dig a 2x1 tunnel into the wall far enough so that the warden cant reach you. Step barely into sonic boom range then back out to essentially make him sneeze w/o sneezing lol. Then you sprint at him while hitting your head to gain speed, whack with the axe, run all the way back by the time the warden can charge sonic attack fully you're back at the start. Rinse and repeat with an iron axe 56 times and he's dead, or 34 times w/ ench netherite. Easy game, you're welcome for the tip comment section :)

Chief, did you know that it is possible to defeat the Warden in armed and without armor. You need a huge pack of DOGS. That’s it, just dogs and an open space for you to run to safety while the dogs do their thing.

Why did you not just,,,,trap it?
Spawn it, go where it can't reach you physically, dig a tunnel far enough that it can't reach you with its shriek, and go back and forth with a few gapples. Run forward, hit it a few times, and back off after tanking one shriek to heal up and go at it again, the Warden can't heal on its own. Slow burn technique but you'd get it eventually, I do it all the time - you also didn't account for the Warden's weaknesses, being water or as quoted his massive size

Just got to the can you beat the ravager part. Yeah they can reach you further than you can reach them. So you cannot beat them without armor. And the wardens ranged attack ignores all protection. So it is physically impossible to beat the warden.Unless you have a bow and are 40 or more blocks above it.
Finally!!!! Another player that had the same idea. Except don't forget the splash potion of weakness for the warden
Chief had all the chance to get about 1 or 2 double chests of totems and freeze the warden to death in powdered snow
good attempt but maybe an instant dmg 2 arrows mightved helped, plus a speed 2 pot onto urself, and a slowness onto the warden also would help

The Ender Dragon is easier to defeat, but it's better than the Warden.
You see, on the server I am on with my friends, I'm banned from using weapons...so if I wanted to do something like this, I would need to fight the Warden without weapons.
I also accidently mined into an ancient city on my first day in the server and my first death was to a Warden.

what i did to defeat my first warden was to simply make a confined place around a shrieker and summoned the warden and pearled to a tower about 30 blocks away and just bowed him down you could have used this strat but i think the way you made this video was much better then just bowing the warden down

trick is to use beacons cause they give u resistance IV without all that slowness, i made a vid like this using only my fist and no armor and trust me, beacons come in clutch
The warden's sonic boom is 20 blocks long. So you could just make a 21 blocks pillar and shoot the warden until he dies. You keep following the rules because you are killing it by yourself not using any traps.

you forgot that u can upgrade the potion to level 4 with potion level-upper, and it even goes up to level 6 in older versions, which makes u invinicble
this is super easy. All you need is an infinity bow, and elytra and fireworks. You might want a totem like chief. Find an ancient city. You can do this by flying around until you find a mountainous area and digging down. Once you find one, find the big "portal" find a shrieker stand on one until a warden spawns. Fly on top the portal and start shooting. The warden wont be able to hit you with the ranged attack. (sonic boom) Do this until it diess.
Tip:When the warden spawns go to him and give him a few hits with the sword he will take alot of damage .

U can kill it without gapples or any armor and just BOWS and Spectral arrows by just building 20 blocks above the warden and then use ur bow. u can use night vision too.

The warden is actually easy to cheese if you build a wall 2 blocks high and enderpearl over or just surround the area where he is spawning you can bowspam him from 16 blocks away or sth like that. He cant even reach you then

FINALLY A CHIEF UPLOAD
Children, if you ever fight a warden, don't do what chief did. Get a bow, lots of blocks and summon the warden in a flat area. Then, pillar up and shoot him from there, make sure you have at least 22 blocks high, because 20 is the max sonic boom range. Also don't forget to have a waterbucket incase you fall and a sword and shield incase the warden manages to reach you.
You can also try and shoot him horizontally where his range is only 15 blocks, but make sure that he can't go past that 15 blocks in any way
