Along with how good this weapon is, I absolutely agree with you on the aesthetic of the bullets saturating an area. How you feel about a gun to how it fires is important, too, and it feels so fucking good
That’s why I really like the Felarx. It feels and sounds like it hits like a truck! I just got the Phenmor yesterday, so I’ll see if that’s any better. I don’t have much use with it, just trying to level it and max the Incarnon.
So far the Boltor seems like the perfect Incarnon upgrade. Makes it a competitive gun to use. It doesn't make it top tier, but it makes it RELEVANT. And personally I think that's ideal. Yeah some spicy new war crime tier shit is fun, but honestly just being able to use a higher % of my arsenal I've saved up over the years is great.
Boltor Prime has always been a favorite. When it came out it was super strong and if you played it long enough, every wall in the map had some dead stuff nailed to it
so glad that DE seem to be revisiting old weapons that fell out due to power creep. Sometimes the simple point and hold down the shoot button guns are the most fun
If it were I’d do this for the Incarnon. Kills release blasts of energy that inflict slash damage on any enemy nearby. Basically it just fires blades of void stuff that hits anything within say 10 meters? Makes it a crowd mulching machine.
These incarnon weapons really show how Pablo (and the game design team) nailed the problem we had with AoE weapons. He said there's no problem with AoE or high damage, but it has to be about big moments rather than 100% of the time or just AFK macro with it. The Strun incarnon in particular is one of the most ridiculous weapons I've ever seen but it feels fair. It's stupid strong but the AoE effect isn't so forgiving that you can just NOT aim, you still have to engage with it and it's a great time.
As someone who played most of the game from when it came out untill 2019 and just returned this week, its nice to knowni can still rely on my latron and boltor
I remember when I started playing warframe and spent most of my time running around with a boltor prime and a nova prime. Glad to see the boltor in a good state again.
I can’t wait for the soma incarnon, the only thing that sucks is they went with the ack & brunt for the sword and shield instead of the Silva and aegis, cause then I’d have my full loadout
I was so excited because I just got the Boltor Incarnon, and then was very not excited when I went to install it but needed just a small handful of resources. So back into Duviri I go to try and find some Yao Fruit. The problem is, is while I already have some, I can't remember where I got it! I'll find it eventually. I love playing Duviri so much that I really don't mind having to go back in.
8:30 some of them are still a pain in the neck not because they can kill you but because there all examus and its a pain having this brightly glowing ball follow you around while your leveling a gun, and they keep jumping up at you like a yappy dog.
I'd like to take this moment to shout out to Hoth2 for reminding us all to drink water. Thanks Hoth2, I think I will go get me a glass of water. And great content as usual Brozime!
So i set my boltor up with the 60/60 status mods(viral+ heat) + a status chance riven ( i had it laying around) and i have over 100% status on the incarnon, 104% exactly, and it turns the incarnon into a full auto Pre-Nerf Tigris Prime, and even without a riven all 4 60/60 mods gives you 98% on it with galvanized aptitude. Catalyzer link and proton jet would put it over 100% as well, although situationally. Edit: Addendum, with the 18% status evo buff, you can hit 100% status per pellet with all 4 60/60 mods and Galv apt, no riven, or the condtional status mods required now
This was my first prime gun ever. Still holds a special place in my heart. Bought it along with Rhino prime’s pack-who effortlessly carried me through the star chart. Until I got Monke God…
I have kept that mod unranked since release its been such a nice bonus. Able to fit in with all the huge cost mods, even 9 forma it wouldnt fit ranked basically.
As good as that is, when the option arises, you should build the Telos variant. Built correctly that thing after incarnon wil one-tap enemies into the 300s.
Yeah, slapped that on mine and *without* serration or a primary arcane, it was shredding steel path enemies....I was kinda floored. How do you usually set yours up? I have a multishot/status riven I may try to reroll to get some crit...
@@Avoncarstien I'm serration, crit delay, vital sense, hunter munitions, 60/60 corrosive combo, shred, with a cc/cd/reload riven(still works without the riv).

Honestly there doesn't seem to be much of a significant difference between incarnon and not. It was still mowing in the base form maybe slightly slower.

Took Magistar Incarnon Its pretty garbage because the heavy attack constantly ragdols enemies, and oh oops I just ragdolled an objective enemy out of bounds guess the whole mission progression is now hard locked. When it doesn't ragdol the enemy its good for healing up the entire squad I guess. (sancti heavy attack bonus) The 25m area slam is somewhat usefull for breaking containers though
Can't wait for Soma's Incarnon to come out and make people debate whether It or Boltor is better, just like in 2015 :')

Soma will always be my true love. But the boltor was always more fun in terms of how it feels.
it depends how it will work with that one soma crit mod

Somewhere in Eternalism, there is a Boltor who always remained meta. The Void has given us a glimpse of it.

All we need is an Orthos Incarnon and the old school trio (Boltor, Lex & Orthos) are back to reclaim their throne
Was orthos ever not good? I still use it. Is crazy good status rod.
Orthos is a polearm, it doesn't need an incarnon.
If it did get one it would probably become the single best weapon overnight.
