This actually brought myself to tears. Absolutely fantastic coverage from the copa 90 boys again ✊🏻 Viva Argentina 🇦🇷 from Glasgow Scotland 🏴 🤝🇦🇷
Best story. Goosebumps ftom the beg til the end. Nothing else matters. Two years ago life changed for us. This planet is a better place now. Thank you Eli. Goooood job bro
I'm Bangladeshi. I experienced my first heartbreak during the worldcup '06 when Argentina lost against Germany in the penalty shootout. I was six years old and crying so much after the match. My Dad hugged me and consoled me. I cried the same after the final in worldcup '22. My dad hugged me again. But this time, the reason was completely different. That final completed my cycle as an Argentina football fan.
You are our brothers in Banglasesh. You were so important to us, to our national team, your support was paramount for the achievement of the world cup, as others trophies. We in Argentina always knew we had a lot and lots of people cheering besides us... GRACIAS TOTALES HERMANOS!!!!!!!!
Thank you my friend. We believe the thousands of people cheering either for Messi or Argentina had a lot to do with the final result. We could feel your warmth and support throughout the tournament. ❤
I wish you could have been here in Bangladesh during the World Cup. You would be amazed by the passion, emotion, and love people here have for the Argentina National Football Team. Although we are not one nation, the joy and connection we feel when Argentina wins is incredible, and we genuinely love the team from the bottom of our hearts. When Argentina won the World Cup in 2022, Bangladesh went wild with celebrations across the country. People here have been rooting for Argentina and Messi, from the Maradona generation to the present. We grew up hearing stories of Maradona's greatness from our grandparents, and we witnessed Messi reaching paradise in 2022. Vamos Argentina! Love from Bangladesh. 🇦🇷❤🇧🇩

I am Argentinian and football is overrated. Just a cheap passing emotion which is compared to eating a good chocolate or having an orgasm. I wish we could channel that passion for a greater cause. But no. It's always cheering for a bunch of rich people kicking a ball. Oh well...

Love from a Bulgarian man here that has always been a Barca fan supporting Messi in every competition possible. This video and the past ones brought me to tears so manny times because it has allowed the Argentinian people to finally show their love for Messi after he grabbed the Word cup by the scruff of the neck and brought back the world cup for his people. This video has also shown me how emotional the people of Argentina are and has shown me how passionate people are about the game that I love. I remember the 2014 final and the heartbreak that i had then even at the age of 10 back then it was my first world cup that i had actively watched and I didn’t realise how hard it would actually be to get to the world cup final. The 2018 world cup elimination had me crying again, they were tears that I couldn’t explain to my friends and my mum because they don’t watch football and dont understand how emotional and passionate I am about this game. I was truly happy when Messi finally won an international trophy for Argentina in 2021 but I couldn’t imagine what was about to go down at the 2022 world cup. I love this sport and Argentina forever. Love from Bulgaria ❤❤🇦🇷🇧🇬
What a brilliant series absolutely loved it. I'm Irish and the link between us and Argentina is amazing. Maradona was an idol of mine growing up. Now its the wee man. You couldn't write it Vamos Argentina 🇮🇪🇦🇷

in my 21 years of age, this is by far the best documentary i have ever watched. they won the world cup two years ago but somehow i can still feel the hype, the goosebumps, everything. 18th December 2022 ❤ love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Soy argentino. 🇦🇷
I'm an Indian, I was so emotional with this victory for Leo. I cried with every win and the most after the final. But to see the Argentina perspective and what Messi really meant to them earlier and after that one Montiel penalty is so stupid and illogical. But that's what Argentina is, now he's their God along Diego. Had teary eyes watching this, great work Copa90, probably one of the best documentaries I'll ever see
I lived in Argentina for nearly 10 years, loved every moment, the people are so warm and welcoming it's so easy to make friends and fall in love with everything about Argentina. I am now living outside of Argentina and was so happy for the country and my Argentinian friends when they won this world cup.
As a Latin American myself, I know what it is to see my country be beaten year after year government after government by corruption, delinquency, economical uncertainty and so much more. After this series I couldn't help but cry my eyes out. People deserve to be happy and it is incredible how it was lived minute by minute. Thank you for this masterpiece, brought a whole new perspective of the final I lived at my home in my country with my family and what it means to the Argentinians and now to me
i have never cried about another country's success as i had done in 2022 and now again today. incredible film and this has to win awards for journalism. this is unbelievable on all levels. Great work Eli and the team. What a fucking story
I’m not even Argentinian, but watching this video has overwhelmed me with emotion, bringing me to tears. Argentina and Messi truly deserved to win the World Cup-not only because of their history with two previous titles but because their victory in 2022, in such a dramatic and thrilling manner, was extraordinary. The people of Argentina and fans worldwide endured incredible tension and heart-stopping moments throughout the match. Messi solidified his status as the GOAT, but Emi Martínez delivered the save of a lifetime in the dying minutes of extra time, denying Kolo Muani’s golden opportunity, along with another brilliant stop during the penalty shootout. In 1986, Diego Maradona relied on Jorge Burruchaga and José Luis Brown to secure the win against West Germany. Similarly, Messi needed Emi Martínez and Di María to seal their triumph as the champions of the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Argentinian here, I watched the whole series and every single episode has brought me to tears, especially this one. Just remembering the nerves, every emotion felt from start to finish that day. Watched the whole WC with friends at my place, we sat at the same places every game, sang the anthem stood up and watched every penalty kick hugged as if we were players at the middle of the pitch. The moment Montiel scored the penalty, all I could think about was my 8 year old self, crying while my father hugged both me and my sister the day we lost against Germany back in 2014. While my friends ran out of my house to celebrate in the streets, I stayed inside crying and messaging my family through tears of joy, I had finally seen my national team, Messi, win a World Cup. Thank you for posting this.
I am a Costa Rican journilst and avid supporter for Argentina and Lionel Messi. The production, dedication and level of passion demonstrated on this four part documentary is insane. I can only say thank you with tears on my eyes remembering this beautiful moment. GRACIAS MESSI GRACIAS ARGENTINA ⚽️❤️🇦🇷
This is by far the best 'raw' sport series I have ever watched, telling the greatest football story of the greatest world cup and the greatest football player I have ever witnessed!! I just couldn't hold back my tears at certain moments! Beautifully made with the utmost respect for the game we all love!! Congratulations!! From Cyprus with love!! ❤⚽🇨🇾
What a great movie about the best thing in the world. As a german, i know that feelings. Thx for all that great views on that special moment! Viva Argentina!
I remember this day. There was an internet outage in my apartment and I bought mobile data for an insane amount to watch the game. Worth every damn penny. Vamos Argentina carajo!
This documentary just stole the entire emotions of 2022 World Cup Final. As beautiful as Argentina won the world cup. Felt like i was there at that time. Great work. Didn't feel this much stress and anxiety even during the final when i actually didn't know what is going to happen next.
Before Arabia. I told my friends whom i was watching the Match withb tahr because of the copa América this Selección had already done it. After Arabia i never doubt it. And in that goal against México did it. Whatever they reached i'll love them anyway.
I am an Indian and i am not a fan of Argentina. The world cup was the best ever and Thank you to Copa 90 for making me live this world cup again This isbthe best piece of journalism i have ever seen
December 18th, 2022. The day I turned 24 was also the first time in my families history that someone celebrated their birthday AND watch a cpuntry as passionate as Argentina win the World Cup. 2 years later, Copa90 blessed me with a birthday gift: A beautiful 2 hours, 4 videos of one of the greatest days of my life. I know El Salvador will never win a World Cup, but seeing Argentina win, watching Messi immortalized just like my father watched Maradona be immortalized, was a moment that I will never forget
EPIC! Absolutely brilliant series - I welled up and I’m English! I remember that tournament, I cheered on Argentina, for Messi, for the fans, what a win and what a set of videos that captures it all oh so well!
I've been watching Eli and Copa90 for 12 years. I have loved everything that Eli has made. But this series is, without hyperbole, the greatest piece of football journalism I have ever consumed. I have never watched anything that has made me feel the range of emotions that this series did. The 2 year wait for this series was absolutely worth it. Eli, THANK YOU for sharing your passion and your gift of football storytelling with us.
I'm from Argentina and I'm been waiting for Argentina win a world cup since i was a little kid watching Italia 90, that final broke my heart i couldn't stop crying, and i always wished seen Argentina champions of the world! at least one time in my life . Now i can rest in peace. Best film ever, it's a thriller! Just amazing. Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Felicitaciones
The thrill and the relief in this documentary literally bring me to tears… i watch 4 episode straight. Their passion and everything seeps into me. Man this is the most incredible thing i saw about the passion of football
Cried again watching this amazing documentary. It's been 2 years already but it still feel like yesterday. Thank you for recording this, this is the best portrait of what we all lived in Argentina, one day we will never forget
A masterpiece of a series. You captured the deepest sense of what we went through as Argentine during not only the world cup but through the history of our relationship with Messi, our team, and even our country. It's like you are an Argentine yourself, which I consider you as one due to what you lived through and happened to understand. This is one the best documentaries I've ever seen.
What an amazing work the whole team from COPA90 did. You can feel the emotion from every person every interview. As an Argentinian that had to handle World cup in many countries besides Argentina. I had to experience the world cup in 2022 in home soil. It was an experience that I can't describe. Thank you messi.

Im argentinean and the part about coincidences is absolutely mad...yeah we are superstitious af but we had a beautiful time with this monumental triumph. Thank you Selección for this endless joy.
Wow wow thank you COPA 90 for this stunning documentary! The cinematograph, storytelling , and the way you let us be a part of showing a futbol history being written! As someone who is not Argentine but from LatinAmerica we all wanted Argentina to win for their people, history, and for Messi. A win for Argentina was also a win for our continent and ended the years of European wins. Thank you for this! We relieved it as if it was yesterday! Despite knowing the results my heart was racing
This is just a master class of journalism... Absolutely amazing, the music, the moments captured, the storytelling, the editing, everything is just perfect. Thank you for doing this documentary, you made me cry again 2 years later of the best day in my life... Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the world's capital of the passion for "fulbo"
What an emotional video, it brings me back to that thay with my father seeing that final... He was born on '78 so he was very young when Argentina was WC on '86, it was our first experience of world champions, and happily, we were together, with our without mom, we're still together. Te amo viejo querido, aguante Argentina y aguante River.

This series is extraordinary. I'm an Argentinean who lives outside of the country for the same reasons you explore during the documentary, and I watched the world cup in Italy, every single game sitting on the same table, drinking and eating always the same. But I didn't get the chance to experience it in my home country, and it hurt a little bit. Thank you, you gave me the chance of doing it after two years.

18th December 2022 ❤
love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Love to Malaysiaaa ❤❤ Thank you 🇦🇷 Look something about Boca Juniors History, will be a pleasure for me gift you that. 🫂🫂🇸🇪💙🇲🇾
Soy argentino. 🇦🇷
Take love from Bangladesh. We love you Messi. We love you Argentina 11:09
2 hour binge on release day. 2 years wait well worth for the most visceral and authentic Argentina wc doc. Thank you Eli and COPA
I love you Argentina! Huge hugs from Bulgaria. Love you, so,so,so much!
Thank you for this masterpiece, brought a whole new perspective of the final I lived at my home in my country with my family and what it means to the Argentinians and now to me
Magical lots of love to 🇦🇷 from 🏴
Thank you! What a Player! What a country! What a game! Thank you COPA90!
i have never cried about another country's success as i had done in 2022 and now again today. incredible film and this has to win awards for journalism. this is unbelievable on all levels.
Why am I still crying after two years . Its so well made. Well done copa90.
Seeing the documentary with tears in my eyes. So well made. Love from India.
Gracias and long live Leo🫀♥️
This is by far the best 'raw' sport series I have ever watched, telling the greatest football story of the greatest world cup and the greatest football player I have ever witnessed!! I just couldn't hold back my tears at certain moments! Beautifully made with the utmost respect for the game we all love!! Congratulations!! From Cyprus with love!! ❤⚽🇨🇾
My God! Football is beautiful! Thank you God for Lionel Messi!
What a great movie about the best thing in the world. As a german, i know that feelings. Thx for all that great views on that special moment! Viva Argentina!
Long live the great german people. When Matthaus gifted us the shirt Diego used in the 1986 final he bonded us
I remember this day.
The greatest world cup final shown by football's greatest story teller. A triumph in its totality
One has to admit, Argentinians are truly the greatest. Greetings from Argentina.
Big hug from La Matanza
Indeed, cheers from Caballito.
It's really humbling. La Copa... la Copa ... se mira y no se toca!!
I am an Indian and i am not a fan of Argentina. The world cup was the best ever and Thank you to Copa 90 for making me live this world cup again
This isbthe best piece of journalism i have ever seen
WHAT A VIDEO MAN! Worthy of being in Netflix
Feliz cumple, che! 🥳 Abrazo desde Argentina. ❤🇦🇷
@estercan1013 Muchas Gracias, Vos. Te amo. Abrazo desde El Salvador
Feliz Cumple!
@guederian567 Gracias
Wow. What a ride, I remember rooting for them in the final and I was exhausted at the end too… so glad for all those lovely people
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Great great people the argentians, greetings from Buenos Aires.
Felicitaciones
I can't stop crying... That's us, that's my country, we're heaven and hell, all in one, we're football and tango, we're tears and joy.
The thrill and the relief in this documentary literally bring me to tears… i watch 4 episode straight. Their passion and everything seeps into me. Man this is the most incredible thing i saw about the passion of football
I have never watched a football video that got me so emotional in a really long time.
Honestly this was worth the wait.
Thank you Copa90 ❤
Man thanks for bringing the best day of my life back in such a way. Not even showing the actual match. Just what we lived.
Cried again watching this amazing documentary. It's been 2 years already but it still feel like yesterday. Thank you for recording this, this is the best portrait of what we all lived in Argentina, one day we will never forget

Thank you for your support! You are a part of this triumph as well. Cheers !
fantstic documentary. watch the whole story from start to finish today. great touch to truly see this importance of the football and Argentina.
Im from Imphal, Manipur, India. this is the best documentary of this subject. I relived the moments.
This moved me! Football, I love you so much!!

FINALLY! Thank you Eli and Copa 90. This is going to be pure Cinema!
This video deserves 100m views. It's fantastic storytelling. Amazing job by Eli and the team.
Cried my eyes out throughout the entire documentary, incredibly made. Thanks❤❤
Eli Mengem is probably the best sports reporter on the planet after making this... my goodness, it's just beautiful
18/12/22 It was the best day of our lives. Thank you for making these 4 chapters with so much love and feeling what every Argentinian feels. It was the best mini-documentary I ever saw, and I saw all of them. Thank you and Argentina will always open the doors to you because although we have a thousand problems we have a huge heart
Thank you for this beautiful piece of work!
2 Years, and we still cry seeing this!
You transmitted the emotion we felt!, I think you even felt it too, running nuts in the streets! you got the argentinian virus for a moment!
Argentina World Cup Champions 2022!
MESSI GOAT!
Finally just finished watching all the episodes, best football documentary ever. PERFECTO.
As an Argentinian living overseas I have always struggled to explain people what this World Cup meant to us….. now I can just share this… thank you guys for capturing the magic, the madness, the beauty and the struggle of being Argentinian.
I can't thank you enough for what you've done with this amazing work. From the bottom of my corazón argentino: Gracias! Gracias! You brought back the anxiety, the tears, the stress and the joy I thought I'd never live again. Amazing. Extraordinary.
