This was by far the best episode. Chiellini was the last breed of old-school Italian defenders. He's intelligent, tough, but also charismatic and friendly off the pitch. He also has a degree in economics. Truly a gem and a role model for the younger generations.

It was class getting to hear from Chellini. But having an italian legend on a show and having a segment discussing the england national team instead of focusing on this guys career is a bit annoying.

yes, sure, but not only from that semi-final
we were receiving news about that wonderful team with Schmeichel, Cantona, Giggs and, indeed, Keane even earlier
No one had the chance to see many matches from foreign leagues, but Manchester United's name always came up into the conversations between fans, amateur players and us, kids.
As the chances to watch football matches grew, we figured that what we heard was true: Man United really was a fantastic team with fantastic players, and Keane represented everything we, young players, would have loved to be: a tough midfielder and exceptional leader.

Quite possible the best interview I've ever seen. His football knowledge is off the charts. Truly played for the sport and so did the ones before him and the ones before them. Not many Italians play outside of Italy and I feel there is a culture over there that you almost get alienated as an Italian if you go to play for some of the other European champions from other countries.
