Boy, I am not what you would call a "country fan", but I love everything Nikki Lane is doing. Last album was fantastic, I'm looking forward to getting this new one.
We waded through about 30 years of blah blah blah yada yada yada country pop.. I saw some guy on fox & friends the other day ? Hays? singing, something about pickup trucks and drinking beer I'm countryyyyy yeah!!!, totally uninthused about his own song. Yuck. Last few years, we've had really good music coming out in droves but none of it's on the radio.

Well with Lukas Nelson, Shooter Jennings, Cody Jinks, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Ben Jarrell, And this Nikki Lane, Margo Price, Ryan Bingham, etc I think we are doing really well now!! It's not on the radio you have to search for it but it's out there really good stuff!! Cheers 🍻

Thing that is really killing me is trying to wrap my head around the fact that Nikki Lane isn't bigger than what she is. I saw a quick clip of her sing some tune on "The Texas Music Scene". It was kind of duet with her boyfriend. Any how, she really stood out vocally. She sounds incredible live... Very impressive.
