What if you have taken the pads off the top straps? I’m so confused how to get them back on and put everything back together on the top part. This video skips that completely.
There is another official video no how to remove all the fabric from the stroller. So it's possible to 1) fully change the color of the stroller (though fabric seems to not be sold separately) 2) wash all the fabric (though I would say it's a bit risky to put it into a washing machine, more like hand washing).

The seat is impossible to change. It is really a shitty stroller
