About The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King:
"One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them. One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." In the conclusion of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic masterpiece, #TheLordOfTheRings, as armies mass for a final battle that will decide the fate of the world--and powerful, ancient forces of Light and Dark compete to determine the outcome--one member of the Fellowship of the Ring is revealed as the noble heir to the throne of the Kings of Men. Yet, the sole hope for triumph over evil lies with a brave hobbit, Frodo, who, accompanied only by his loyal friend Sam and the hideous, wretched Gollum, ventures deep into the very dark heart of Mordor on his seemingly impossible quest to destroy the Ring of Power.

This trilogy was once in a lifetime. No other trilogy has come close to the epic nature of this one with the production quality and amazing acting. The writing was incredible. A masterpiece the likes we will not see again across three movies.

It’s the music which makes it 👌🏻
I agree that the movies are fantastic, but the Writing and Story isnt that great. Its full of Plot Armor...
I've never seen ao much Plot Armor since Game of Thrones Season 8

I am in fact crying.

This is the first time in almost 20 years that I've seen this trailer. I am indeed crying.
"I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil"
Peter Jackson deserves a special lifetime award for making these movies. It’ll sure be a well deserved and overdue one too.
@Patrick B only chance of redemption for PJ was if he cuts the hobbit to be more like the book.
@Patrick B Fact is, its not his fault that Hobbit movies were not on lotr level. Studio insisted on 3 movies and there were other problems that had nothing to do with PJ
@Patrick B Guillermo Del Toro was supposed to be the director of The Hobbit, they were already starting the production of the movie when Guillermo walked out and Peter Jackson stepped in, so he didn't have the luxury of time like he did in LOTR. The Hobbit was supposed to be 2 movies, that's what the studio wanted. Peter Jackson insisted on a 3rd movie because he ran out of time. PJ could points fingers as to who should take the blame, but he didn't. He was very much a victim of the studio's greed.
@@eddureis20 If he cuts The Hobbit to be more like the book, it'll just be like a Disneyfied version of the movie. The Hobbit is a children's book, has none of the nitty gritty stuff that LOTR has. J.R.R. Tolkien himself was aware of the difference, he already warned his publisher that LOTR was not turning out to be the same as The Hobbit.
@Patrick B love how everybody is always talking about greed :D as if passion for film making and stories was not a thing.
I envy people who are yet to watch the trilogy for the first time.

Can not believe this movie is almost 20 years old and looks THIS great
It's because they limited the use of CGI wherever possible. The orcs are real people in prosthetics, they made "bigatures" of certain locations (eg Helm's Deep) etc. You can find all the info in the extras sections of the DVD. Imagine if the movies were made today - no one would go to all this trouble to bring realism and instead it would be 90% CGI like all movies nowadays.
