The movie is of course exaggerated, but Muay Thai fighters are known for the insane conditioning they do. There´s a video of Buakaw Banchamek, the famous Muay Thai champion, where he kicks down a banana tree, just to give you an idea, how conditioned these guys are.
Banana trees are very soft and spongy, no matter how much conditioning you do, if you kick full force low kick and opponent check it and you hit an elbow or a knee you are done for

The movie is of course exaggerated, but Muay Thai fighters are known for the insane conditioning they do. There´s a video of Buakaw Banchamek, the famous Muay Thai champion, where he kicks down a banana tree, just to give you an idea, how conditioned these guys are.
Banana trees are soft.
Banana trees are very soft and spongy, no matter how much conditioning you do, if you kick full force low kick and opponent check it and you hit an elbow or a knee you are done for
So he likes Bananas lol
For Tong Po a banana tree can be a replacement for women
@@coltruiz7126 for Tong Po Van Damme himself can replace a woman. It's snu-snu time!
He should have got disqualified for having two-tone purple shorts on from the gate
This was back in the 80's 😂
Bro knee and leg strong damn
He's a Moroccan actor Mohamed Qissi alias Tong Po and his big brother Abdel played attila in Full Contact 🇲🇦💪
I personally watched my roommate who was a thai fighter kick a tree with his shins, I couldn’t believe the sound I wanted to puke

@@seifeddinebouabane4548 yep, and Abdel Qissi was in a few movies too... Atilla in Lionheart, the Mongolian fighter in the Quest etc
@Audio and whips in rick roufous fight it was american kickboxing rules only allowing low kicks and changpuek won using only 1 muay thai technique he could. if elbows and knees were allowed the fight would be over quickly. western boxing is only better in punching
Mohammed Qissi Alias Michel Qissi is such a nice guy. For thoses who understand French there is a nice video on the French youtube channel
Karate Bushido where he explain a lot of detail on his role and even more about this movie.
Cheers.
