Gaia will win many mountain top stages. At just 4' 11", her power to weight ratio will be world class if she keeps progressing on an apward trajectory.
Real strange the finish photo is nowhere to be found, from the shadows it look like Van Vleuten is in front. The key moments are also missing in the TV broadcast, horrible coverage, I'm losing my trust!
I guess, van Vleuten didn't care about Realini drafting, she wanted to gain seconds against Vollering, and she did. Realini had no interest in that, she wanted to win the stage, and she did. So both reached their goals. That's cycling.
@@ulrichr.487 I know is cycling, i've been cycling rider so many years, but a victory is bigger for me if I collaborate in the break away. There are certain honor codes
@@Supercoco5 So she is a coward for not following an unwritten rule?? You can tell by her reaction that she didn't expect to win in a sprint against one of the best cyclists. It was a smart move imo. Had she done any of the work, I highly doubt she would have still been able to pull off the win.
@@RiseNShine681 yes, I'm saying that. Rules are rules and respect and sportsmanship are unwritten rules for sportpersons. For sure you're the one who speed up when an accident occurs, or when the leader get a flat tire, but not my case. I'm the one who prefer to win face to face. I don't deserve to win riding 50km not collaborating without a reason.
@@Supercoco5 Ok so if your this ELITE racer that you clearly want everyone to see you as, then you would know that tactics are a big part of every competitive sport. The goal isn't to DESERVE a win, its to GET the win. AND to piggy back off your point, Movistar literally sped up when Demi went for a pee break on this stage!! So what Realini did was cowardice but what AVV did wasn't???? You're ridiculous!
VAN VLUETEN CAMPEÃ DA LA VUELTA 2023❤❤❤👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
SHOW US THE PHOTO! Good for Gaia if she won, but why no photo?
Shes beyond tiny.. what bike size shes using? Does Trek even have that size on sale

Great win for great rider.
Well done Realini, the first of many victories no doubt 👏

So Realini was drafting the whole time and she barely won in the end? Proud moment? Lol
What a coward. Is easy to win riding 40km on wheel not helping at all
