I got to Houston Texas from Mansfield in 2 hours yeah I was young and stupid. I was with a network marketing company they had one of those conventions and I was worried I was going to be late. Looking back on it I was going to be late the only reason I got there early is because I drove 120. As I look back also though I realized that wasn't worth it even if I was going to be late so nobody copy what I did. I was young and stupid.
Im going to drive from Houston to Dallas in mid march. How long does it really take? Most people say around 3 and half hours to 4 hours but 239 miles is very far. Whats the average speed limit? It just sounds a little to fast:)
k f I’m going the opposite direction Dallas to Houston.... unless you’re traveling during high traffic times of the year (Christmas, Thanksgiving, other semester breaks) when the college kids are leaving/coming home. It does take about 3.5 hours. Average speed limit is 75 mph. You have your areas you have to be careful with the troopers (Centerville & Madisonville) also when 45 turns into a two lane road... other than that you can do it! Stopping at Buccees makes the drive bearable. Have a safe trip!
I have met quite few that have moved to Stockton from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. So you don't want to be flooded out again, huh? I don't understand why they moved to Stockton, California. It is another city below sea level and surrounded by levees. Hurricane Harvey was a shame. It was not like it was an unknown factor that just would never happen. Since there has been so much development upstream (The Woodlands?), that will happen again.
Just a correction: You enter Plano once you pass the “PGBT”, which is actually the Sam Rayburn Tollway. The next stack interchange after that is the PGBT, and after that is when you enter Dallas.
I like passing on that long bridge in dallas
Drive from when the nation goes from southwestern to southern

Stop hating on Dallas TX The Population figures are wrong Dallas TX has a population of 1,450,000
Dallas is represented way too long in the video. The MetroPlex is not the center of the universe.
C. L LTR44 According to Txdot it is.
