Amazing concert, would absolutely go to another one of these if they end up coming back in the future. A few surprises in here that weren't in the UA-cam video they did the other year!

I've been playing games since 1990 and collecting games since around 1998. Currently sitting on just over 2000 physical games collected since then. This was mainly thanks to working in game shops for around 12 years.

I was at the evening show in London that same day. I was having the time of my life finally being able to get to this point, meeting friends I've only spoken to over a monitor for years.
But then we got here, specifically to the bridge between Aquarium Park and Planet Wisp.
It felt as my entire life up to this point had all been converging into my mind as the music went along, finally catching up with me as to where I stood back then, and where I am now. All the bullying, the ups and downs face during my childhood, and me nearly losing sight of what I found endearing about Sonic to begin with, and the bonds I would've skipped out on had Mania not been a thing at all.
For the first time in a long time, I broke down crying as the bridge played this harmonic, uplifting piece.
Unleashed and Colours were a turning point for me as a Sonic fan. I live in the Netherlands, a country in which back then, Sonic wasn't relevant at all, not the same way as he is now. Merch and toys were not available anywhere, so I had to make due with my imagination for the most part. No one around me was into Sonic anymore, so I was always seen as "lesser than" even though I enjoyed other games as well.
That night, more than any other, it felt I was finally vindicated for who I was and what had lead me here. My friends, both in real life and online, were able to merge for a single night as we sat together to celebrate what made us all who we are.
