YES - our auto insurance DOUBLED. But we were now able to be a one car family so we have saved a tremendous amount of money. Also we were shocked by all those luxury cars that are just people's daily drivers. Homeowners insurance wasn't quite as bad and property tax was less because of the state we moved from. Definitely have other things we pay for now though that we didn't in other states. It is unique. Great video!
Hi Dan and Leslie!! Always appreciate these updates!! Retiring to the Tampa Bay Area 2 years ago and visiting WDW often, I agree that while the "Magic" is still very much there, it is different!! Our park days now are much more relaxed and more specific than our "get it all done" once a year week long vacation.
We live about 45 mins from Busch Gardens Williamsburg now and enjoy just driving up, hanging out for a bit and heading home. I can't wait for that to be WDW for us. We don't need to ride every ride each day, we just love being in the parks, enjoying the atmosphere, maybe eating and then heading home.
5:30 I am 11 miles from Disney World, but from my door to the Magic Kingdom train station takes me 1 hour and 20 minutes. Many people would think that is a dream. But when you live here and have to deal with it all the time? It becomes a pain.
Only been here since end of August and it’s so true about getting numb to paying the theme park prices this was a surprise to me how quick that happens but such a joy and a blessing anyway 🤷🏼♀️
Love the video. We plan on moving down when I retire from the military in about 5 years, I won't have to work but I'd probably like to get a BS fun job with Disney like driving the boats back and forth to the resorts. Our youngest will be in middle school then so we need good schools but I hate HOA's with the fires of a thousand suns. So much to think about, oof.

It’s so nice to not have to try and cram it all in 😊

Haha, so true
My 24 year old still hadn't driven on I4 yet! Your son is brave. Lol. 😊 Enjoying your updates.
Thank you!

😂😂 yeah I get that. HOAs are fun to deal with
I love these videos! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge before we make the move.
We are in the early stages of planning a move from MA. Everything here is so ridiculously expensive, and I sick of the cold:)
We love the weather here!
Hi neighbor! We moved from Ohio to Windermere 3 years ago.
How do you like it? Any thing that was super surprising about living there?
Agreed I4 is terrible. Luckily, we’re don’t have to use I4 too often.
What about moving down to work at Disney?
