hi, update: this video is blowing up, so I think we should update the description and say that this is a roblox skit at the end of the day, while yes this is technically possible, I would not recommend doing so. Also by you doing this wouldn't make you any better in this situation. However it is a really smart way to get toxic player's locations. But still not recommended, and I am not legally liable to anything that may occur, again this is a roblox skit, a roblox meme you will.

April 25th 2024 update: Yeah this video is blowing up, hi if you are new, here's something you should know: this video is a skit, AGAIN A SKIT, not meant to be educational, IT'S A SKIT. if you actually do this, you aren't much better.

At the time of posting this video, I was not at all aware of the IP thing, I was only aware of the location thing which is based on the IP. If there's anything to learn from this video, your IP addresses are sent everywhere you go
and your ISP knows this, your IP actually changes every day to every other day (and under very rare circumstances it doesn't but you will have to use dial up type shit to not have it change)
infact your ISP knows this so well that the location given to the server / user that is seeing that IP is extremely vague at best and completely wrong at worst, infact my current IP is not even in the right region of my country (or state / county if you are from other countries), and the city, forget about it. shit's like 500-1000km away from me
Of course your IP can be spot on, but unless you don't live in a big city within your country you would be pretty far off, if it's right on spot your city probs has over 200k people in it, have fun locating one guy from 1,000 let alone 200,000.
this video is a skit that plays in with security measures put in place to keep your accounts safe, it gives you the vague location of the user's IP to let you know: "hey, this isn't you right? logging in from North Korea right?" and infact is really not that safe to do.
you have to assume the user you are telling this to really fucking hates your guts to commit a crime, which I find pretty unlikely, and I have to assume that you have 2nd step verification, and you have to make sure the password isn't complicated enough that the troll can write it in and not give up, which compromises on your security more, and then again letting some rando dipshit online on your account is not very safe (surprising.)
So while yes, it is technically possible, the likelyhood of you getting someone to do this is slim to none, and the output of this manoover to actually give you an accurate location is also slim to none, you'd have better chances at winning the goddamn jackpot before you pull this off.
you are much better off just leaving the game, and if he joins you back (very unlikely) you can just block them.

for those who dont use 2 step verification : if a player got your password. a 2 step verification will pop up, this can also track countries and city where you live in. it can make sure a hacker logins ur account.using parental codes makes it more secure.

If ur on vpn it will not track your location but if isp have public dns then roblox will track ur isp location tho.

my sister had been hacked before and when she went to the email she saw the hackers ip and EXACT location one of her friends literally tracked their location but she decided to delete it and got her acc back from support
this could of been the biggest uno reverse card in history.

i think I have made it pretty clear at this point that this was not a real video, it's a skit, I have replied to many comments to tell them, while also updating the pinned comment to let the viewers know.
While yes, technically possible, it's not reccomended under any means
If you don’t do 2 step verification. Let them log in your alt or one you just made. So let them log in go on (…) or more, then (settings), (security), then scroll down and find where they’re logged in, click on it and it’ll say some info.
I dunno if it gives ip but it’s prob better.

it does show IP nowadays, and the IP will match, however the location will be wastly WASTLY inaccurate because of how IPs work. Check pinned comment to read more

Since I live in Slovakia, I am living in a fairly small country, but my IP is showing the location entirely wrong. infact the entire region is wrong.

This is a bad idea, even though this is a skit, if someone was to actually do this it is possible for the person logging in to reset the password just by seeing 2 step verification show up.
Someone tried this on me recently, somehow managed to reset his password and he just logged out
