there should be a trend in india, that people leave their parental homes once their age is 18+ !! it is the only solution to end caste system, misogyny & patriarchy !!
If you feel unloved by your mom, you are *much* less alone than our society would have you think you are. In fact, feeling unloved by one’s mother is VERY common. I really cannot emphasize this enough. “Stephi, if it’s so common, why don’t I hear about it more often?” One word: TABOO In our society, it is a taboo of truly enormous proportions to speak openly and honestly about the ways in which we feel unloved, shamed, abandoned, unprotected, assaulted, ignored, and otherwise harmed by our mothers. Why? Two words: MOTHER MYTH The mother myth is a false narrative that runs universally throughout our patriarchal society that asserts that all mothers love their children, that all mothers are doing their best, and that all mothers are owed for their efforts by their children. Gah!! 🥴 Sadly, this mother myth is exactly what keeps so many people suffering in silence about the pain they have experienced with their mothers. Perhaps you can relate. I know that for me, I tried for YEARS to convince myself that my mom loved me because “All moms love their kids,” and that she “meant well” when she did things that I experienced as harmful to me. When I did dare to speak with a friend, I was met with, “All moms are doing their best, Stephi! You sound pretty judgement of your mom after all she did for you, don’t you think?” Would my friend have responded this way if I had shared that I felt this way about my husband? I don’t think so. So what can we do about this mother myth that keeps so many suffering in silence about the pain they experienced with their mothers? A couple of things: 1) OWN your own pain with your mother - When we own our pain, we create safety for others to do the same, both within our circles and in our broader society. 2) SHARE my content and that of others you come across that speaks honestly about mother-adult child relationships - If you feel more comfortable, you can caption your shares with something along these lines: “Sharing for anyone who needs to see this right now.” 3) TELL your own story of pain with your mother - When and where you feel comfortable (this does not need to happen on social media) share about what happened to you with your mother, how that impacted you, how you feel about it, how you have worked to heal from it, etc. facebook.com/steph.wag.7 m.facebook.com/1553056274961508 m.facebook.com/140962406067146

I don't know why independence is associated with cigrates like stuffs nowadays. Can't a person be independent without smoking. I appreciate the content in the video but wrong is wrong. Stop showing Smoking scenes. Instead discourage the generation to do so. Quit 🚭 Smoking.
Why do you have to show a girl smoking to show her liberated?... Smoking is worst in every sense for everyone...Boy or girl ! This is a sick habit and it can't be connected with independence of anyone ... It's just uncool in capital letters .
That cigarette was unnecessary...cigarettes and alcohol are definitely not the criterion for intelligent, smart, strong and independent women...in fact, people, both men and women who use them lose their dignity for foolishly destroying their health by day in front of intelligent people...please don't promote wrong things...
"Be friends with everybody but dont be too intimate with anyone, it will hurt you" and "we are not there with you we would only know if you will tell us.Think before act". These are the two prime things tyey said and trust me it took 6 years to understand the depth of those words. ♥️♥️

WHY CAN'T SOCIETY ACCEPT THAT A WOMAN CAN SMOKE??
Not exactly
But younger generation who watch these take the wrong notion of cigar is cool
Even if some doesn't like it ,but to look cool among peers they copy wotever they see on screen..
A society shud never accept smoking for either women or men, it’s harmful for both
@@Princess-cq6es then why is Kabir Singh celebrated? I know it's wrong for both men and women to smoke. But why is there a burden on women to not commit any sin? As soon as a women does something incorrect everyone starts preaching. I have literally never seen such comments on any guys' video
Liked everything in the video except smoking part. There's no use of writing smoking is injurious to health on the screen ,when u can't avoid it in scenes which doesn't demand it at all!
Exactly ! There was no need to so that part . Smoking never represents modernism
True that. But I can't imagine any scene where smoking is necessary unless u wanna show the smoke getting into the lung and harming it, or harming the people who smoke passively
"So that you can come back to a home and not a flat.." I decorated my room and turned it into a cosy place after years of living out and it made a lot of difference. I used to have like the bare minimum in my room and was really depressed. It was my sister's suggestion to bring a change to my room.
there should be a trend in india, that people leave their parental homes once their age is 18+ !! it is the only solution to end caste system, misogyny & patriarchy !!
I totally agree with you #liveandletlive

finally some sensible thing on the internet!👌👌👌
Tnqs a million.
If you feel unloved by your mom, you are *much* less alone than our society would have you think you are.
In fact, feeling unloved by one’s mother is VERY common. I really cannot emphasize this enough.
“Stephi, if it’s so common, why don’t I hear about it more often?”
One word: TABOO
In our society, it is a taboo of truly enormous proportions to speak openly and honestly about the ways in which we feel unloved, shamed, abandoned, unprotected, assaulted, ignored, and otherwise harmed by our mothers.
Why?
Two words: MOTHER MYTH
The mother myth is a false narrative that runs universally throughout our patriarchal society that asserts that all mothers love their children, that all mothers are doing their best, and that all mothers are owed for their efforts by their children.
Gah!! 🥴
Sadly, this mother myth is exactly what keeps so many people suffering in silence about the pain they have experienced with their mothers.
You sound pretty judgement of your mom after all she did for you, don’t you think?”
Would my friend have responded this way if I had shared that I felt this way about my husband? I don’t think so.
So what can we do about this mother myth that keeps so many suffering in silence about the pain they experienced with their mothers?
A couple of things:
1) OWN your own pain with your mother - When we own our pain, we create safety for others to do the same, both within our circles and in our broader society.
2) SHARE my content and that of others you come across that speaks honestly about mother-adult child relationships - If you feel more comfortable, you can caption your shares with something along these lines: “Sharing for anyone who needs to see this right now.”
3) TELL your own story of pain with your mother - When and where you feel comfortable (this does not need to happen on social media) share about what happened to you with your mother, how that impacted you, how you feel about it, how you have worked to heal from it, etc.

This Needs to Be shouted louder and These Are the straight Facts! May Göd bless uh and heal you❤
I don't know why independence is associated with cigrates like stuffs nowadays.
Just beautiful, the writer, script, editor alongwith every single person associated with this video and Above All the TWO LADY ACTORS
My mom always says dont trust anyone easily...she always with me for best guidance....love u maa😘....
Does the independence mean being seperated from parents?? Why do they even think of moving out??😐😐
Home is not home without mom....
I use to see this video whenever I miss my Mom and trust me every time I watch it I can't control of my tears to come out ❤️
Without focusing upon the negative part the whole video was so beautifully created that tears rolled down my eyes. Grt job done 👍
That is overwhelming! Thank you!
Deeepika Amin👍👍👍👍👍awesome in every role.I loved her in DD seial Farmaan with Kanwaljit. They had great chemistry.
That cigarette was unnecessary...cigarettes and alcohol are definitely not the criterion for intelligent, smart, strong and independent women...in fact, people, both men and women who use them lose their dignity for foolishly destroying their health by day in front of intelligent people...please don't promote wrong things...
Bengali sune vlo lglo 😍... Bengalis hit like 😘
That’s the bond of mother they are always there whenever and whatever when we need them love you mom
"Be friends with everybody but dont be too intimate with anyone, it will hurt you" and "we are not there with you we would only know if you will tell us.Think before act". These are the two prime things tyey said and trust me it took 6 years to understand the depth of those words. ♥️♥️
Always be True to Yourself and Stand-up for what is Right even if the world is against you !!! And above all be a good and a balanced human being 🙂🙃
Mom’s are like God’s Angels 👼🏼 always there with us looking out for our well being 😍
This advice will stay with us forever!
When I left home the first thing my mother told was never get indulge urslf in drinking n smoking😂
I like your content...and i really appreciate it...but pls don't exaggerate the contents by some nonsense means...like cigarette and all....
I am independent girl and i hate them all.
Every one has there own independent thought, y u r saying like this
Lovely video...nw I miss my mom badly...she is ma world luu maa😘
Mom said “please awake up on time” bcz I m not morning person and then 😭😭 for 2 hours!!
I got married in last month and this video made me realise how much my mother loves me
I still don't understand why people need to move out from their parents in name of independent..i mean you can be independent by staying with them
Right. Moving out in name of independence!
Some people need their own space and believe they are able to appreciate their parents way more when on staying apart :)
Cigarettes and alcohol shud nt be glorified!!
True, It's Really Hard IN choice even to Move Out, especially Food Everyday, Packing, Safety.. I really Appreciate this Video out of it.
Mere mummy n bola beta bs khana khane m koi kmi mt krna khate rhna or pdhna or papa ji bole the beta hm gav s h hmare ejjt he hmare jindgi h mere ejjt k dyan rkhna koi es trh ka kaam na krna jis s mere bdnami ho🙄

The smoking scene was not needed in this beautiful vdo.... Smoking does mean independence and feminism.Plzz dont promote smoking plzz
Whenever i heard "mishti" confidantly sure abt tht its a bengali family..... bcz i m also a bengali.. Kemon acho ?bhalo achi..😊😊if u agree hit the like button guyzz
So living alone is cool and empowering , so no need to take care of parents who bought you up . So women empowerment is living alone . What if they need us . I cant understand. But video is awesome . It made me feel bad for her mama
ravali priya oh so if a girl is married n gone to husband home then no problem?? If she is shifting alone only then u have problem?
@@indhu4172 so anyway someday she wiil go away why she should leave her parents . and i dont think either boys are living with their boys after marriage . everyone likes freedom that means too move away think that parents are so emotional . so she need some space. anyway your wish . it is a choice . fine
and there independent women who shower both love and take strong decisions . if we observe our mothers clearly we can witness . they are way too strong .
Such a sweet video. Capturing the bitter sweet moments between a mother and daughter. It could make you emotional on various levels. 👍
U know what's the only similarity between Shreya gupto and Shreya gupta...
Both are phenomenal actor❤️
Bengali nahi aata to mat bolo na bhai. Hindi me hi video poora bana jayega to kya aaffaat aa jata.
It seemed to like a daughter move from mother place , just for the self freedom to smoking ,
Ys 🙏💐
Very nice way of telling crucial things in a convincing way, things to remember for life
God bless you all
Kya fayda muma ki itni teaching ka if she still smokes???
Always fight for true and of course self-respect.
I have left home is first n last time in life, after marriage.... 😐😐😐😐
When I went for my first job I was happy and my mum was also much happy but she cried a whole day because I was not there with her... She calls me every hour and I was busy as it was my first day!! ☺️☺️☺️ Moms are really cute!!
When I left my home for studying in medical college.. my parents especially my father told me that ... now u have to take each n every decision by ur own n don't let us down by any of ur act.. that time ragging was going in full swing but bcoz of my father's advice I faced that period boldly in collage as well as in hostel... N now as a working mother my kids r growing up n they r in a stage to leave for hostel so I also want to see them as independent citizens.... Nice vedio.. good work...
I am not smoking, will society accept me as an independent woman🙄???
shikha tiwari same question...
It's a personal choice, there are other good things in this story and last Do you want award for not smoking
@@Impeccable_content I think yes😅
I hope, some day you will get it 😄😊
This one make me remember those days when I was shifting to hostel...I had so bad days living without the sweetness my mom has given me uptil then...I had many bitter day after shifting...I used to call my mother to be here in my room..used to cry like a baby..she always say the same thing Mishti’s mom says in the end- no matter how much bitterness u see...i am there for u always, behind u..
when she said, "Jhalmuri niye jabe?" I was like "kihhhhh???"
Deepika Amin tried hard, but she falls a little short on her Bengali, does not matter, lovely video.
When i left home my dad said if you cannot hold on just come back to me this doors will always welcome you with a smile and full of love.... may be that brings the confidence to live without compromises
BEING A BENGALI, COULD RELATE A LOT. THANKS A LOT BLUSH. KEEP UP YOUR QUALITY.
:+))
Blush, why are you making crap like this? You had such good writers. I loved Qaid, Beans Aloo was magic and Kahi Suni, it's my most favourite short ever. Those stories had substance. This is absolute bullshit.
Take care your self
You have only 1 year to prove your self ❤
She hug me tightly then I cried
My parents said, phone humesha uthana aur apne frndz ka, unke frnds ka, room mate ka, uski bhi frnd ka, pg owner ka, unke sabhi rishtedaro ka, sbka phn no de do. So that agar kabhi tumko humara phn uthane mei aadhe second ki bhi deri ho jaye, to hum poore sansar ko call kr ske!!
When I went abroad for studies my mom told that you are very innocent n anyone can make you a fool..n i made it sure that nobody can do that and proved her wrong..❤️Thanks mom for making me alert in that one liner..
Seriously I didn’t get “that cigarette scene was mandatory” I mean women can shown empowerdly enough w/o that too
The girl's Bengali accent is better than the woman who is a Bengali actually. If you can't speak in proper accent, why make Bengali characters? The film was sweet and making the characters Bengali wasn't needed. Being a Bengali, I am kinda offended
My mom dad said we want to see u sucessful in ur life ... N don't forget ur moto
Never loose your self-respect... And know that you're always loved... Even if you don't feel like - always love, Maa...
So beautifully visualised !!! :)
Apart from smoking really nice
Why there is bit of bengali amidst of hindi and English? Is this really that necessary?
I was in my intermediate... When i shift from my house... From now i haven't returned back to home but day by day i feel there is no place same as home bcz there we have our strengths... Life is too bitter... Its not sweet when i came to doing a 9 hours shift nd came my house than m memorize myself about my past... those times are such a big days for us wo khelna shetaniyn krna etc... Now we are elder ab tu rao b tu khud chup hona prta h😔
Deepika Amin tried her best to speak Bangla! Good try!!!
When I left my home because I was completing my engineering then my mother was so happy bt after few days she was so sad n crying for me. We share all talk each other not hide anything bt my father told my mother always es gadhe k paida hone se phle kya khaya tha tumne jo aisa saitan paida hua ha(^o^):):):)
Systematic packing ..... I died .... I should show my husband this systematic packing
I have also the same feelings...And my mother also gave me such advice..Stand for yourself nd self respect..Life may be sometimes bitter nd sometimes sweet...And yes...I go thru daily ...
Everything was good untill@ 6.57. Cigarette??? 😧 a big👎👎👎👎👎 why now a days in web series smoke alcohol and so many things r so so common?? Why r makers adapting western culture.??
Makers or writers do u like if ur children will smoke or drink?? Then why r u encouraging society for this?.??? 😧
No matter what the content is...I'm really impressed by their Bengali speaking skills👏👏...paused the video just to write this.
Smoking is never cool. I don't like when a protagonist smokes on any damn movie videos etc. But I see these comments in a video where a woman smokes. Never saw these comments on a video where a male protagonist smokes. Please don't be biased on your "no smoking" comments, so also post your comments on videos where a male smokes. Smoking is bad for any damn gender. Everyone should discourage smoking. Be it male or female. If a KABIR SINGH smokes and drinks like hell, it's cool, remember people taking his side. How is it cool? And if a MISHTI smokes it's uncool. For me, Kabir Singh and Mishti both shouldn't promote any addiction. But people do moral policing only for women. Wow.
Deepika ji I am very happy to hear your Bengali words. And at first I see that you play as a mother's role.Because I watched your famous tivi serial "Formaan"about 30years ago.And at present every day I watched your tivi serial "Formaan" all episodes.
Story was amazing but smoking scene nearly made it look like a flop show...was it even required?
Absolutely NOO!!
Girl can be independent without cigarettes . N your fallow own charms n swyag .
