    I don't know that much about British history with painting, but the woman who brought in the airplane painting and lived through ww2 , and knew the guy that painted it, who was the guy flying the plane, is absolutely gorgeous! I would predict that that pilot was more enamored with her then his airplane. She's probably in her 80s but you can tell that when she was her 20s she was the one that would walk through the room and turn everybody's heads.

    British culture used to be so civilized and polite. What a shame it has completely changed in the 25 years since this was filmed.

    That Lowry sold a few years ago for £657 250 pounds.

    People don't know what they have. The most luscious, glowing pottery and china. Startling artwork, drool worthy jewelry. Passed down or found.

    I love Lowry’s paintings and he’s right about the melancholic aspect BBC Fake or Fortune now on UA-cam did a programme about possible Lowry paintings - worth watching
