Lewis was a two-timing narcissist. Patti stood by his side in the early years before his career took off with Dean. She was the stabilizing force for the family while he ran around town. Chris continues his work with his father's muscular dystrophy and Jerry has left him and his first wife's other children the royalties on all of his work - meaning they keep earning from their father's job! Watch any of his appearances on talk shows and you will see him try to take over the show with his antics. Nobody's trying to sanctify Dean Martin, he certainly had his own issues, and I don't hate Jerry Lewis.
