This old man here would love to sit in the cabin with Citation Dad and just chat. Given a son is a lot like his dad I would guess Citation Dad is one incredible person. Thanks for the great vids.
Great video! In a former life, I was the VP Finance for Bermuda Star Line. It IS a beautiful island. I’ve been there nearly 20 times, but my last visit was in 2005, so it’s been quite awhile. I took a picture in the City Hall, in the exact same spot, from 1978 to 2005, so I have a collage of myself in my 20s until I became an AARP member 😁
As always, very enjoyable to watch these vids. I can turn my room dark with no lighting, and with this video playing I am immediately sitting in the cockpit with these guys, and I forget about the reality of everything around me. I am in the cockpit flying to Bermuda. As always, awesome video!
Steven is cool as a cucumber! depart into pouring rain, low vis, at night - no biggie. Very professional radio work! signed, a nervous wreck in a cessna 172 :)
Nice, this is what I will do one day in life...flow my Mooney through the Bahamas many times, but had to sell it...one day...wonderful flight, thanks for sharing.
Gotta say i love the avionics setup you are running, really good on the eye, not too much info but all the stuff you want. The menus look pretty easy to navigate, great setup
A couple weeks away from my instrument checkride, I love watching the flow you guys have with coms and checklists, it really helps me to be smooth and concise when I fly. And what a great breakthrough view!
It always amazes me how quickly that jet goes from a roll and in no time is ready to rotate and get off the ground. It just seems so effortless as compared to other aircraft. Really enjoy the videos ✔
I like Steve very nice and professional. But Max would have been great to see you re do the fuel calculations and show how much more fuel was burned at FL 310 compared to FL 410
@@flapppytappybird7923 Looks to me like the MFD shows a full fuel load at TO, more than half at landing. I suspect they were ferrying fuel to save costs, were aware of the expected burn, and were aware that the full load would more than cover the loss of efficiency without formally recalculating the burn.
Thank you Max. I am mesmerised by your videos! I love flying although my bigger passion is sailing, but your videos will help me to be a safer sailor. Its even benefiting my driving! I think about a pilot briefing before setting off; making sure my brakes work, loading up the sat nav and making sure I know my route, checking left and right before pulling onto a runway, I mean road! Your safe pilots mindset is very helpful for driving other machines around. Thank you so much. All the very best. Rob from the UK.
Nice video. Bermuda isn't in tropical zone ( the Caribbean) but it is indeed a lovely destination and the people have that distinctive way of speaking.
Bro I just started my private pilot training yesterday! Had my first 1hr flight training and 1hr ground training! I love your videos, please keep them coming they're a huge help and inspiration! Thanks Max!
Thanks Max. You and Greg are the most entertaining channels to my interest on UA-cam!.I've been with you since you were four digit UA-cam channel. Keep up the awesome content!
Beautiful landing as always Max! Looks like you set it down right at the 1000 foot marker. Also, it looks like you have a fantastic copilot with Steve. Thanks again for posting.
Beautiful video Max! The rain, the clouds, and the view of Bermuda on approach were amazing. And in my opinion you and Steve are a great team. Thanks for your efforts producing these videos!!
we need to pull some money together and get you a hat or rain jacket. Wow, when you pulled out of the rain it was breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you so much for the video.
It's always such a great time getting to ride along with you Max! Thanks for sharing the amazing videos and all the extra work you put into them for us. I really do appreciate please ignore the trolls I'm seeing in the comments because they are on every channel unfortunately.
I’ve been learning to fly on X Plane flight simulator. Maybe one day I’ll look into getting my license. Off topic but the fact that you make a point to be so friendly with ATC I think goes a long way in making someone’s day. Especially in a high stress job like that, sometimes simply being asked how you’re doing can turn one’s day around. Good stuff!
They should call that town "Wet Planes!" Thanks for uploading - always enjoyable flying with you. Kudos to your copilot, Steve. Max: Do you also have business duties when you reach your destination or is your sole job piloting and aircraft related?
Nice greasy landing! I'm SoCal born and raised but I love driving and flying in the rain! I also love breakouts from clouds to sunshine! Good stuff! P.S. My son is an airline pilot and he started on the CRJs. He loved the 900 but the 200 was "gutless."
Hi Max. Love it another vid. The break out never gets old. Appreciate your honest video date. So my guess the Garmin upgrade was done and dusted. Kuul can’t wait for that video. Go well bud!!
Hi Max !!! thank you for sharing and co-pilot Steve .. awesome crew.... nice entrance in the sun when in the takeoff ... awesome. !! as always All the best !! Hey say hello to Steve !!!
The last time I was that wet was on my 3rd birthday at 3 in the morning after 10 Dr Peppers....Thanx for the upload Max. Can`t wait for the new hardware...
In the departure, does the wx rdr come up automatically..? didn't see it from 6:55....So you do your approach briefing as part of your descent checks, during descent, not before..
Nice video as usual max!!!! I bet you are excited to finally get that garmin upgrade and have the electronic flight checklists among a few other perks!
Hi guys love the channel which provides such a great insight into your world. Absolutely fascinating. Please could you answer me a question as to the circumstances that may require single and dual crew? Thanks.
This is the kind of flight I like to do. When you are sitting in dark, gloomy coastal stratus and you pop out on top in pure sunshine it's the best!
I want to go where there going !!!
I had this happen on a commercial flight out of Albany New York. I know exactly what you mean. It was like the scene out of the movie "Flight"
Just a question...does heavy rain affect performance of jets??
@@johnkozuszek5550 long as its not freezing and or you have de icers (heat) on leading edges of your wings. don't wanna do that in a 152 cessna .lol

... and i'm sitting here just wishing I had the dough to fly from ny to bermuda in a private jet.
Always a good show..exciting today..great flying.. Thanks!!!
Thanks C-Max! Would never experience this without your videos, much appreciated.

Fantastic video as always Max, love the way you and Steve understand each other and you can tell that you've been flying together for a long time.

I think Bermuda needs to be a bucket list item for me. Thank you for a wet departure but that breakout was spectacular.
Kudos to the ground crew. They make it happen , no matter what the weather.
I love watching your flights.I feel very safe with your confidence in your expertise if I was on your flight I know I would be in good hands

Yep, the most wasted thing in the world is fuel left on the ground.

Another great flight. Interesting to see the ice build up.

Views on this video were incredible. Beautiful
Steve's insight on the Dash 8 was cool to hear. I always have enjoyed riding as a passenger on them. They are comfortable for a turbo prop airliner.
Awesome...getting your departure clearance before you park...that's the way to quick turn...and the breakout was fabulous!
great CRM! Love hearing the exchange! The breakout over clouds to sunshine. Nothing like it!
Some beautiful photography . . . breaking out above the storm into the sunrise . . .

So crazy to me that above every storm, it’s nice and peacefully clear above the clouds.
@13:54 watch the ice come off the leading edge as you break out on to that sunlight 😍

i love it when they started singing 😂
Love the Dash8 too! Perfect island jumper! Another great flight Max and can't wait to see the Garmin updates in a future video! 🛩💙
Great vid. I am always amazed by to contrast in locations from departure and arrival.
Fantastic video smooth landing❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos! Im just a flight simulator gamer/ drone pilot but I love watching your videos to learn all about the details.
Nice flight - thanks for sharing. What no cookies LOL
Exciting watching the 1%s jet set around the world! Your so amazing!!
You never fail to amaze me, your videos are wonderful and I like to watch them! It lets me see what it's like to be a Private Jet PIlot
Awesome video breaking through the clouds and seeing that sun rise.
That was some great IFR flying!
Great flight, team work, and landing.
Love that takeoff roll…CRM at its best, well done guys!

Great video Max awesome smooth touchdown happy new year to you and your family
Enjoying the videos. Are 2 pilots required when flying with passengers?
You make that look so easy. Incredible!
Another awesome flight!
Love those breakouts!
Professionals. Awesome.
Why would your fuel burn be greater at lower altitude as opposed to a higher altitude?
@mtbin2 I think they also might've had a nasty headwind at lower altitudes
