This helps. Because I started hare krishna japa for a month now and I feel happy but more sad thoughts in my mind about my past. Of me drifting away from hard work, learnings and achievements.
This video helps. I have to watch these thoughts and detach.
Update: I see a lot of changes already on doing japa and I don't know how or why. All on a positive note.
It is unexplainable and unbelievable to my own self.
My health has improved drastically. Because I do japa and converse with Krishna, I feel ashamed to be sad or to overthink. Hence overtime, overthinking has stopped. Not reduced if you observe, stopped. I'm more focused on my work, my family, my books. I believe in the greater power who is Krishna and see myself as His own and want to be of His purpose. This has reduced stress. I eat better. My skin has improved which I was upset for two decades.
I LOVE KRISHNA. He has made my life so much better. It is as if He was waiting for me to ask His help so I could do better💜💜💜

How to completely purify oneself, purify us from dirty thoughts is to have some guru or superior who can discipline us, chastise us. Guru not only chastises us when we are wrong but he can do so even if we are right because his business is to shatter or cut our ego. Then bhidyante hrdaya-granthis chidyante sarva-samsayah - "Thus the knot in the heart is pierced, and all the misgivings are cut to pieces." Bring back this mission element.

Instead of thinking as past illusion it is clarity to accept the thought as as it was the same. Nothing is sinful or stupid if u stress on removing it clearly agitates you. The mantra niyama is this thing only in order to go further beejaksharas will clearly stirup the antarvasanas only.
