2:45 that is until the TV adaptian that comes from a true fan of the books who will do the source material justice. D&D's adaption is the Ralph Bashkis animated Lord of the Rings, starting with good intention but ultimately failures for various reasons. In 20 - 30 years time, a true fan in the vein of Peter Jackson and company, will bring to life a more definitive and faithful adaption to a Song of Ice and Fire.
I'm doubtful just due to the length and the cast being so iconic
Came here to say, that the Academy did this cast too dirty. In the 8 years that this cast has been on TV, they don't even try to make an effort to recognize the other talent of the cast. They just keep rewarding Dinklage (Who is a great Actor). But this show isn't just about Dinklage, it's about Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldu and the rest of the goddamn Talented cast that brought it to life. They All have Emmy Worthy Performances, and were Shit on over and over. Such a waste. This cast deserved more.
Tough call, his acting is excellent, his character in season 8 was sht.

Better Call Saul is the best show on TV and they haven't one award yet. GOT brings out a rushed truncated poorly paced final season that looks more like a Michael Bay miniseries and it still wins because game of thrones circle jerk time. Then again this is the same awards show that only awarded the Wire two nominations and 0 wins in 5 seasons despite general consensus that it's one of the greatest shows ever made, and they also refuse to give anything to It's Always Sunny despite being one of the top comedy shows for over a decade.

We were never going to get a rewrite, most people understand that. But it would have been nice if they (and especially the pandering Academy) had acknowledged the FACT that this season of television was narratively atrocious. Instead, they sweep it under the rug and act like it was a Da Vinci painting of cinema. That's what's really unforgivable. The unwillingness to own up to their mistakes and admit they didn't try their hardest. Instead, they get a sweet reward and are going to move onto making more Star Wars money. Never watching the Emmys or any of D&D's crap ever again.

I was so happy to see them win one last time! I do not understand why these “people” who followed the show for 8 seasons suddenly decided to start hating on it. That is completely lost on me, but whatever is causing them to think that way it is blocking them from enjoying an amazing show. I feel sorry for them and they have my pity!
It's because they didn't all come out at once... We "turned" on the show because the writers butchered so many of the characters in season 8. What is so hard to understand?

None of them can come up with any legitimate grievances, just regurgitations of stuff they heard or read online. The conclusions to all the characters are 100% in keeping to what we've seen in the books, and I feel that Season 8 (although not as great as some past seasons, or as bad as a few others, for that matter) will be appreciated in due time.

I have seen better comebacks from 3rd graders attempting to be internet trolls do a better job than you. Also I will have yuo know that before season 7 started from June through August I watched all 6 seasons and I took a lot of notes regarding things characters said, why they made certain decisions, the colored clothes they wore etc. I hope you have a better rest of the day and week and do attempt to be a better person.
