I figure skated as a child, too. Learning that so many skaters were on the flight with their families hurts badly. Now a second crash with a child and her mother heading home after life-saving surgery in Philadelphia just boggles the mind.

I was on the phone with my brother as the story was developing he lives in Maryland- my home state as well. I told him the helicopter was probably military because of the area and explained to him pilots train at night- a few hours later they said it was a military helicopter.
My brother began to cry because he was feeling the anticipation of the family members awaiting their loved ones arrival. He picks me up from the airport when I fly home and he said what if this was me waiting for you, what would I do?
Such a tragedy and thank you for honoring and mentoring them.❤
My sister was killed in an airplane accident 32 years ago. She was coming back from the twin cities to Hibbing Minnesota. It happened December 1, 1993. The hurt n heartache never goes away
Kelly. I did the same to my bed set , hutch, table, buffet and server. All of the my furniture is real wood and the price for a bed set is out rages. It all came out so beautiful. Can’t wait until I see ur room completed.

Kelli I live in Wichita Kansas and they just had those skating girls and boys at our ice arena. They showed them every nite on our local news. I got to see those little girls and boys do their beautiful work skating. Also some local men and women were on that flight. I was so heartbroken when I turned on my tv Wednesday night at 10 after 9 and they just had broken in the show I was watching and told the news .

I think many of us are feeling the same sadness and deep sense of grief over both the NY crash and the one in PA. Just so sad. My heart breaks for the families, some of whom lost more than one member. Hopefully, it'll make us all hold our loved ones a little closer and appreciate them while we have them. You, of all people, know about that. I'm sure your kind words will help someone out there after these terrible tragedies.

I am brokenhearted. I had no idea who was on the plane that went down until I watched your video. Even if there wouldn’t have been any children on the plane it would still have been an awful, horrific tragedy, but knowing that there were so many talented children with so many wonderful years ahead of them, makes it even more agonizingly difficult. I couldn’t hold back the tears. I know given your connection to the skating world, this has to be yet another incredible blow for you. I pray for you and your family all the time and I will continue to do so.
On a happier note, I was so excited to see your update on the bedroom. My husband was in the house and I said to him that he needed to watch your video. I said this lady is incredibly talented❣️ She could build a house all by herself if she put her mind to it. Because I think you work too hard, I was glad that you had a professional come in and paint the furniture, but I have no doubt in my mind that you could have done a professional looking job without any help. You are an amazing person in all aspects of your life❣️ I am honored to know you even though I have never met you in person. Your furniture looked so pretty in the white! It looked great against your paint and it just speaks light, fresh and new beginnings. However, it has to be what you love and what makes you comfortable and happy. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I live in a single wide mobile home and have a king size adjustable bed. We have NO room for a headboard. I would also love to have someone come in and paint my kitchen cupboards and island.

Your room is going to be lovely!! My heart breaks for those who were lost in DC. Here in PA we have experienced an aviation tragedy too. It’s a lot of horror and sadness to process especially within a 48 hour time frame of the two terrible terrible events.

I've lost one sister and a brother, so I know how life can change in an instant Life is so short and you just never know when the Lord is taking you home. Kelly the airplane crash and losing all those people is overwhelming and my heart hurts for the skating community and their families. They had such a bright future. I just hope the FAA will make the mhch needed fixes so thus won't ever happen again. It makes me mad that they had alot of close calls and nothing was done to approve the possible situations. I grew up in “The Furniture Capital Of The Word” High Point NC and I know a little something about quality furniture. Stanley is a very good brand of furniture so good call on having it repainted instead of buying lesser quality furniture. It looks great❤️
