    I’m so lost in what measurements i need for the panel? Skipping the step for that had me very confused because i don’t know what measurement to reference for it

    Hey, I’ve tried this tutorial but every time I tried the sleeve it ended up being completely different. It’s not straight and the edge looks completely different from yours. Could maybe tell what I am doing wrong. Cause I always end up with more of a puffy sleeve.

    What does it mean, "ignore the chain 5 from before?"

  • @jinseironquillo
    @jinseironquillo Рік тому +3

    Just to make it clear for the front and back panel, do you multiply the measurement of your chest+arms by 6 or 5 +1? Like for example my measurement is 54cm, then I will multiply that by 5+1 and get 271. Do I make 271 chains?

    • @ArtsyMaki
      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому +5

      Hi! You need to make a chain that is approximately your measurement = 54 cm long and than make sure that it is (multiply of 5)+1 chains, that would be (11, 16, 21,…). That means you can add couple of chains to your 54cm long chain so that it is a number that you need

    • @Eva-st9ys
      @Eva-st9ys Рік тому +7

      did you start this yet? I want to make it but it seems like it means multiples of 5 not multiplied by 5. I wouldn't want to accidentally multiply by 5 and make it way too big, and waste my time since it takes me approximately 4 business years to finish a project

  • @vicagera50
    @vicagera50 Рік тому +1

    Hii!! Sorry i dont really understand this. So if mine is 50 cm than how many chains should i make? Can you please help me with that?

    • @ArtsyMaki
      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому +1

      Hi, just do chains until the chain measures 50 cm!

    My neck line doesn't look like yours? It just looks like it did before I crocheted the neck line. What could I have done wrong?

    • @ArtsyMaki
      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому +1

      Hi! I did mine really tight, it’s quite difficult to get over my head but I like how it looks the most 😃
      You can always do the neck hole smaller and then crochet the neckline back and forth leaving a little slit in the back so it’s easier to get over your head

    When I make the sleeves should they be the measurements of my plan to bicep? It’s a great video I’m just not sure how long to make the sleeves 😅

    • @ArtsyMaki
      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому +1

      Yes! Like a middle of your palm to middle of your bicep. Or just measure how long are the sleeves on your favourite dropped shoulder sweater and make it the same lenght!

    I couldn't really see what you were doing and the lack of verbal direction was a bummer. Maybe more direction for future videos?
    I came here after finding the pattern on etsy and loved the look. Was hoping to a crochet along

      I am trying to improve in every new video :) maybe when I become better in producing videos I will refilm this tutorial. I tried verbal directions in the green top video but I think my English is not good enough for that yet 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I bought this pattern from your Etsy and even though I did everything as instructed, the cuff of my sleeves keeps coming out more frilly instead of flat like yours. Do you know what I might be doing wrong ? It’s cute just doesn’t match the rest of the sweater 😅😅

    • @ArtsyMaki
      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому +2

      Hihi! Maybe the make the ch 1 in between your dc a little tighter? Or using like 1 mm smaller hook on the cuffs may help or if you dont want to frog it, maybe a small elastic around the cuffs could make it less frilly. Hope some of this helps, you can send me a photo on instagram and i will try to give you some more accurate advice 😃

    • @alannahborucki9031
      @alannahborucki9031 Рік тому +1

      Like what “row” are you repeating? There’s absolutely no direction beyond double crochet into the 2nd chain. You’re completely off camera and your hand is blocking any chance of even guessing at what you’re doing

      @ArtsyMaki  Рік тому

      Yeaa, this was one of my first videos so its not the best 😃 i am thinking of refilming it because people seem to like the design (I am gonna try to do that in next couple of weeks if you wanna wait for better instructions)

      Leave the neck hole and sew the two sides of the panels together. Then sew the front of the sleeve to the front panel and back of the sleeve to the back panel. And then just sew the sides of the panels together.
