    Hello friends! In this tutorial I will show you how I created these super simple crochet mesh sleeves. I've been seeing sleeves like this around for a while now and kept meaning to try and create them. There are many ways to make sleeves like this, but this is my way! :)
    Below you can find the link to the yarn I used and the link to a full tutorial on how to create the mesh stitch. If you have any questions let me know in the comments and I will be happy to help!
    Stay Spooky,
    Nessa :)

    Yes I'm going to make this! I'll probably do a dusty light blue one and a pink one. I accidently ordered too much pink yarn from hobbii for a blanket I'm making 😅. Thanks for the tutorial! It's very clear and easy to follow.

      Yay!! I'm so glad you like the tutorial, thank you so much! 🥰 Also those colors are going to look so great! It really is a perfect project to use up some extra yarn since it's so quick to make!

    I’m making my first one but from a different tutorial. I already see my sleeve are different sizes…Your way looks so much easier…so I’m going to commit to finishing the one I’m working on now and make another one using you tutorial.

    I would recommend to ppl to use a hook size or 2 down for starting chain as my 1st 1 of these looked baggy on that chain row. That imo of course tho, mean no harm by recommending this 😘

    Thank you for this tutorial :) I used smaller yarn for hook size 4mm (I used a 5mm to make it looser) and I always chained 2 instead of 1, because I felt 1 wasn't a big enough gap for this smaller yarn. I also ended up having to chain 500 😆🥲

    could i in theory keep adding to the bottom when i’m done with the sleeves and make the shirt(?) part full length?

    • @nessasknots
      @nessasknots  10 місяців тому +3

      Yes! You totally could! If you attached the yarn to one side you could work in rows to make it longer on each side! 🥰

      @p_hyo4110 Рік тому +1

      I like it a lot, it's soft and warm and the metallic finish is pretty cool, especially the dark blue one. But and it's a big one, if you need to frog anything it's gonna be hard, especially on small stitches.

      I used almost four skeins of 5weight yarn using a 8mm hook.
      400m or 436yd but I wanted it a bit oversized so you may need less if you measure it to fit tighter.
      Or more if you're adding length to the back and front panel after the sleeves are done, which I may do to add more coverage.

  • @user-wi3it4bd9b
    @user-wi3it4bd9b 5 місяців тому +1

    Please I don't get the way you do the measurement so can you explain it to me?

    • @nessasknots
      @nessasknots  5 місяців тому

      Sure! All I've done is measure the length of my arm span with a measuring tape. Then I make my starting chain that length. Then I would suggest adding a few inches on each side so the arms don't become short when you try it on. I did not have this issue, but I've seen a couple comments where folks did. I believe it may depend on what type of yarn you are using, or if you make the neck hole smaller, the sleeves will appear shorter.
