Being a good listener is as important as being a good interviewer. At times you seemed to be just rushing to an entirely unrelated question after he finished answering so eloquently and supported with data. He’s such an articulate strategist and a delight to listen to his thinking.
A man of great morals n intellect Prashant has aroused much insight n in to Indian politics and Indians ability to scale through the system,but still the gandhianism in his words ii think is not eloquent or relevent to general public at the present context, moreover south indian political parties particularly the DMKs are simply DECOITS and are only a curse for the people's woes ,lending your valuable time energy. It's very nice to see Prashant Kishor giving his time to his State to study the prevailing situation of every person in Bihar. I hope this padayatra will bring about a change in the lives of the people there. Most of the Biharis go out seeking livelihood and settle down in other States. They should get better living conditions and employment in their own State rather than being looked down upon in places where they go to work.

I attended this session live and at one point Shoma was particularly insistent on how to counter BJP.. the interview is a long one and worth watching but if you are short of time .. watch after 1 hour .. he was so critical of Rahul Gandhi, the southern states are more corrupt than the northern states, the strength of the different political leaders…

As a host, there is nothing else on display except her desperation to get a magic winning formula from the master strategist and run with it to the opposition (even to the extent that she is pleading for a slogan)...utter waste of Prashant's time and no wonder he had to be coaxed to do this. Her questions reek of everything that Prashant is pointing out as the 'wrong way' of looking at the issue.
Your expectation of 100% support as BJP claims is hard to reconcile with the reality that stares in your face.

I was kept mesmerized by Prashant Kishore. The only thing I prefer to differ is the fact that he gave too much importance to Mahatma Gandhi. Others too played very important roles in the independence struggle. His analysis of Rahul Gandhi is spot on. His empathetic outlook is appreciable.

MANY others played an equally strong part in shaking the foundation of the British rule.

Prashant Kishore's views are very true to a large extent, but his views on revival of Gandism is like trying to reinvent the wheel and it's genuine followers. The generation of Gandhism is on walking stick, if not in the grave already.

But Modiji himself, goes around opening Gandhi Statues around the world and bows his head to Gandhi and extolls his virtues all the time. Publicly atleast.
Superb interview and discussion. Nobody is able to say that Rahul Gandhi cannot match Modi, he atleast has to show 5 years of CM leadership in a state for people to believe. Kejriwal or Mamta has more scope than him to lead opposition, and considering such terrible opposition, Modi has an easy path. Unless they are able to raise better leadership, the only way I see BJP might lose is if it breaks into other parties.
No way Kejriwal can be the option. In the era of internet Kejriwal thinks he can fool ppl with his double standards. The day he formed govt with that same Congress party which he cussed, the day he joined hands with Laloo which he called corrupt that day itself he showed that he is no different than them. The man who portrayed himself as educated, progressive & honest politician is engaged in same dirty style of working like any other corrupt party. The person who calls himself and his party as kattar imandar party has his members of party in jail for corruption for which even the court is not ready to give bail. For Mamta, she does not forcefully try to show the most honest party like Kejriwal does so ppl don't feel betrayed as much as they feel with Kejriwal.

I agree however I would say there are thousands with better understanding of India but he is fortunate enough who got few opportunities and he was able to grab n use in his favor. Today if he gets from Modi what he wants, he would start praising BJPs policies. Such people can work in silos but cannot within an organization where they have to agree with others points.
In my point of view he analyse the party that approach him that whether they would win the election or not? Then chose the winning side. Eventually the party wins and the he gets the credit.

The opposition parties polled less than 20%.Nobody political analyser criticise corruption ,appeasement policy of opposition parties, bribing the voters.
