Bro, it's because I don't like hedonistic, self-righteous, egoistic snobs, who impose themselves as conscious rappers in order to attract an audience. I see right through this fakeness.
Hans Franz bro I guess part of his 'magic' is the feedback with de crowd.. The beautiful thing about music is to innovate, to combine and to do other types of music, which is what I think this boy transmits. I don't know, I just appreciate when I see a good artist (no matter what genre plays) and this one is! 😊
You are welcome to have whatever opinion of the man, based on how you interpret the persona he presents. I do, however, want to let you know about my own experience with him that tells a different story (my point of view is different and you are welcome to ignore my comment). When I met Oddisee after a show he presented himself as a very humble and appreciative artist of any fan who spoke to him. He gives a great live performance (and maybe this isn't the best example of that, given the crowd) and he is one of the most intelligent and thoughtful artists I have encountered. I have found his interviews to be very engaging and thought provoking. He might rub you the wrong way, but that doesn't make him any of the disparaging names you called him. He just isn't your cup of tea. Also, he doesn't care how much of an audience he attracts. He has explicitly stated that multiple times in interviews. He appreciates and respects anyone who listens to his music and he is very grateful/humbled to be able to make a living off of music. If you have had a different experience in personally meeting him, please let me know as I would be very curious to hear another point of view.
