    Planning is in progress for '30 Days in Thailand' coming this year - Slightly different format featuring Rich and his 10 year old son Matthew travelling around and seeing what adventures and new experiences can be found there!

      So this did not happen! Travelling with a family of 4 when not everyone is on board with making a film was not a good recipe for success. Sorry.... Lesson learned!

    I was in Nepal from the end of November to mid December last year (2015) and everything was great. People there have put a lot of work into rebuilding and managing the damages caused by the earthquake in April, 2015.
    However, there were very few tourists there, hotels, guest houses, resorts, etc. were practically empty, even in touristic places. We were told that it is due to tourists being scared of fuel shortage and other inconveniences caused due to embargo from India. Yes, maybe one couldn't get anything on the menu, but otherwise, with a little bit of effort from travelers side, everything can be arranged.
    People in Nepal are ready to take in tourists, feed them, accommodate them, guide tours etc., etc. So if you (someone who's watching this video) are thinking to go, but the aftereffect of earthquake or fuel shortage troubles you - fear not. Pack your bag and go on an unforgettable journey to amazing Nepal!

      +Ieva Bebre Inconveniences caused due to embargo from India.? Friend, so many Nepalese are coming to India for job. In my housing complex at least 20-25 Nepalese are working as security personnel for last 25 years. Every six months one batch goes home and another comes. When they go home and feel like staying there for more time, they send their relatives. They all stay here happily in our complex, are admired by all for their hard working nature. During their free hours they do some extra work and earn more. We all appreciate that. India, being immediate neighbour, was first to reach help to Nepal. I had never thought you have so much haterade for us.

      +Reed Bitwindalynes Your name suggests that you think you can read between the lines but you have failed to recognise that the utmost important thing in anybody's life is his own security. And here we have given it in the hands of Nepalese for last 25 years. So much we trust them and love them. There is no haterade against them in our mind and we treat them as part of our own society. Instead you felt that security is lower grade job?

      Yeahh..its all good and all..all the english talks..but since you r talkin in a decent kinda way..i'm jst gona say one thing for ur own sake..mayb it'll do u good...ITS 'HATRED'..not haterade..nd about ur question..since u asked me...NO,i dnt think its a low job...infact i think its one of the most prestigious & respectable jobs out there..safeguarding private & public institutions..infact i said the exact same thing to someone else's post before i replied to ur comment..

    I am from Nepal. I went to Annapurna Circuit for a week with my friends back in April 2012. In the beginning, I was a bit hesitant, not because of all the trekking to be done, I just wanted to stay home and do nothing. My friends pushed and there our journey began. We went to Pokhara from Kathmandu and then to Ghandruk and stayed there the first night. Our trek began from the next day. We woke up and went to the roof of the hotel. And we saw the first glimpse of the majestic, dominating, grand, all in its glory, the Annapurna range. It appears so near and so high. The first time I saw it, i had goose bumps and felt so inspired by the beauty of the beasty moutain. From there our trek began. We completed it with in a week.
    After having been there, what i can say is Trekking, and especially in Nepal, is the highest form of adventure you can ever do. You never forget the moments. It becomes your addiction. The memories remain fresh. The journey reminds you of the incredible experience. It widens your heart and its boundaries. It pushes you to go out and enjoy the priceless things that our mother nature has to offer. If you want to feel something majestical, go trekking, come to Nepal. You will never forget it. It stays till the very end. Can't wait to go the next time.
    Thanks for the awesome video. Cheers. ;)

      One thing people don't understand is, if Nepal was poor then people wouldn't visit us. Tell me one genuine richer soul who goes to see the poor. Not you nor I or anyone in that regards.
      Nepal is rich in its own ways which is why people who acknowledge that fact come to see us.
      Edit:
      Moreover, why would you need ratification from foreigners on how rich your mother is?

    Could you not find any decent Nepali folk song that you had to settle with an Indian song in the beginning of the video???....Anyway, to people of the world, we love Indian music, it's very popular here, eastern classical as well as Bollywood songs but we have our own music, culture, tradition and many things absolutely exclusive and unique to us and only us. Long live Nepal.

      +No Routes Found ignore his stupid comment! what he doesn't understand is that music is actually a Sanskrit music not Indian. Even if its inidan music it doesn't matter coz music has no boundaries and barriers ! Thank you for showing Nepal beautiful through this amazing video! Hats off!

    • @gametoppler
      @gametoppler 9 років тому +8

      I am grateful for this wonderful video. And I have my utmost respect for these documentarian brothers. Seriously, I can't thank you enough.
      However, Sanjog Rai you must understand that you can't play a Chinese music and show Sri Lanka (But music has no language duhh), You can't play a celtic song and show Egypt (But music has no boundaries duhhh), you can't play Salsa and Samba music and show Japan (but music is music, it doesnt matter) and same as everything above you can't play Eastern classical (There are two of them - Hindustani classical, practiced in India, Pakistan as well as Nepal and Karnatak classical, practiced predominantly in South India) and show the hills and mountains of Nepal, hell not even Tarai basin represent that music coz they have their own. It's the matter of "identity through music". Nepali music, or I should say, Nepali folk "Jhyaure" music is absolutely unique to Nepal and Nepalis (Actually it is also sung in Nepali speaking communities/regions of India which were once part of Nepal before Nepal had to sign a treaty to hand them over to British East India Company.)
      P.S: There's no such thing as Sanskrit music. It is a language not music. Please do some research before you make any more comment brother. Peace V

    • @MrPhosan
      @MrPhosan 9 років тому +4

      Well.. if the music goes well with the video than, I don't see any problem with that! Hollywood movies sometimes uses music originated from other countries if the theme is right. So does that mean they are wrong to do so? And FYI there is Sanskrit music. Please do your research! Mantra's and Raga's they are Sanskrit music. and there are loads of other genre which has been adopted from Sanskrit. I was born in a family with musical background so I guess you should be doing some research before making comments. Even if its indian music what difference does it make. Video clearly shows Nepal and they are talking about people of Nepal. If you have so much problem than why do you have an English name here. You should change it to Nepali name brother!
