I visited one of our local indoor rages, (I am a member of both this indoor range and an outdoor range) to do some target practice. Though our NIC system in Florida, (as of this post) is still up, they were not sure for how long. They too were not able to get any new weapons in, and were even selling their rentals at this point. Again, they were seeing an influx of first time gun buyers, many who had NO CLUE on how to handle a firearm. They said that their self-defense courses are maxed out for each of their four classes per month. They were completely out of self-defense ammo, however did have plenty of target ammo in stock, and no, they were NOT price gouging. Members could purchase as much, (reasonably) as needed, whereas non members were restricted to two boxes. Though I have over 5.5K rounds of ammo stocked, (75% self defense, 25% target) I purchased another 400 rounds of target ammo, plus I couldn't resist a great deal on a used 1911. 😏

Was in the Nashville Bass Pro this morning and saw a lady get out of an SUV with an Elizabeth Warren sticker on it. She went straight to the gun counter and asked for a Glock 9mm. The clerk politely told her that they sold every Glock they had in 9mm already but said they had some Sigs and Kimber left. She looked at the price tags and said that was what I planning to spend on the gun and the ammo. The clerk said well I guess that does not matter because we are sold out of 9 and he no one else in Nashville has any, the look of concern was immediately evident. A few minutes later I saw her talking on her cell phone and about to cry. She wasn't the only one, there were 10 other people huddled around the 44 magnum and larger revolvers because that was the only handgun ammo they had left.
I was almost a first-time buyer during COVID. I was on the fence and a series of conversations with friends and family about firearms, going to the range, getting a CCW, doing more for self-protection and family protection spurned me to get one. It wasn't really on my mind even though I was pro-gun and always appreciated guns. If I never had those conversations, COVID would have been the impetus. Instead, as I was seeing ammo prices start to rise, I grabbed another case of ammo, only my second ammo purchase. So that's where I'm at: coincidentally only a step or two ahead of the people going to buy their first right now.
Hello KotaBoy! it seems that with the jails/prisons releasing inmates and cops being told to cut back on arrests and limit their activities and the people being told that "YOU are your first and maybe only responder", with food/ater/supplies shortages........many people and even these prisoners being released who have nowhere to go and no supplies....people are REALLY feeling a need to defend themselves and their property. Am hearing that many anit-gun and first time gun buyers/owners are now purchasing firearms, realizing that "The police will protect you" is NOT a true statement. This is different from the gun runs during anticipated bans or laws being enacted....this is a gun run for people to seriously defend themselves during what could escalate into SHTF.
My wife for years has said.... “another rifle, another carry gun, more ammo?” I could see the light bulb turn on when I gave her credit last night for stocking up on the essential provisions and giving me the chance to buy enough firearms for even the extended family. I got her thinking about prepping for food and water at the end of 2017. She’s done a hell of a job. Granted I myself might be a bit low on 9mm for a few mp5 combat loads but we’ve got plenty to get by even if we don’t re-up. This will be yet another event I’ll never forget. Late 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s..... lots of things have happened. If you didn’t learn from those.... this is why you are in a panic

We don't seem to have a problem or shortage here in Virginia... We had our panic buying a couple of months ago, it was from a different type of virus called liberalism. Seriously, I've been to 3 different guns stores in the last week and they are business as usual, plenty of guns and ammo.
I've been a gun salesman at a pawn shop for two days, I've already sold around 20 guns in a small town in GA and more than half are first time owners worried about the repercussions of current events
NICS was up and running fine on Saturday morning, March 21st. I was cleared in about 15 seconds and the Gun Shop Owner said he hoped the day goes as well my clearance did and he made no mention of any NICS problem that week in Pennsylvania.
That’s funny that the media says wash your hands and use hand sanitizer when it’s an airborne respiratory virus. Plus hand sanitizers are bacteria fighters not virus fighters. 😂😂😂😂
The 2nd amendment is for everyone, even those who dont understand it and even those who dont like it. This experience could be what the nation needs to be reminded on partly why we need the 2A.
If anything good can come from this mini-SHTF scenario maybe it will be that Americans will realize that their well being is dependent on themselves and gain a better appreciation for their constitutional rights.

I think everybody should own firearms. I just think it's funny that a lot of these people buying her first firearm down or getting mad because they can't go home with it right away and they're the ones that voted for us to have longer waiting periods and also voted for us not to be able to to have firearms.

I blame all of this on the so called News Media Outlets for spreading fear and panic to the masses, all for ratings. Next is the corrupt politicians that are over reacting. As of today, their are roughly 19,400 people in the U.S. that are infected with the virus. Only 256 people in the United States have died from it. Last year we had over 12,000 people died from the flu and no one panic over that! If you people did not prep ahead of time for emergencies, than it is all your fault not do do so. You laugh at the preppers for years...Now who is laughing at who people?
@@11B30Inf Flu deaths should have zero bearing on how we deal with covid-19. We shouldn't panic but we damn well should be prepared. It doesn't take a prepper to see what is happening in other countries when the medical establishment gets pushed beyond its limits. No one should be laughing, period.
I was @ Bass Pro Shops in Kansas City, there is NO .223, 5.56 .22, 9 mm, 20 ga. .45 ammo or reloading powder and supplies. There was a line of 20 people to purchase guns, when I left the store @ 6 P.M. today
The fact that there's a sudden rush to arms & ammo is proof that we have failed our Founders and ourselves by not keeping a militia that is well regulated. Time to up our standard of regulation. **"Regulated": Kept in efficient working order and maintained in body and function.
I agree, though this failure didn't happen in a day. Marxists oozed their way into education and media and have been pumping anti-2A propaganda into young people's minds for decades.
I went to Wally World today to see all the madness and noticed a nice shotgun in the cabinet went to purchase it and all was going good until a delay came back mind you I have a cwl in Nc and wasn’t able to get it 1 hour later went to academy and walked out with one 🤦🏻♂️
I have seen and had the same thing happen in the past with WM. Personal opinion, I believe it is either the store system or the individual behind the Wally World counter putting the delay into effect. Each case, went to a different store (sure paid a little more) or in one case another WM and walked out with our legally purchased firearm.
I agree 1000%. Plus, the last time I purchased a shotgun at Walmart the clerk banged the long gun on the counter no less than 3 x’s. These people do not know proper firearms etiquette of handling firearms. Let alone the paperwork involved for legally selling them.
I hope this crisis wakes people up regarding the 2nd Amendment. However. learning to use a firearm should be done long before the need arises. If I was bleeding to death I wouldn’t want someone who’s never driven a vehicle driving me to the hospital. PREPARE BEFORE.
I’m guessing 90% of these firearms purchase are not existing gun owners...they are people who told themselves they didn’t need a gun. Now that reality is knocking, they all want a boom stick 😂
When I turned 21, I purchased self defense weapons. Trained and practiced. Always have plenty of ammo on hand. That was 30 years ago. Made sense then, even more so now. Never understood why anyone thought they were safer being defenseless.
Bought a 300 Blackout this morning in Virginia. First time in 30 years that I got delayed on check. Usually about 5 minutes tops. Not like I'm a newbie. Veteran and worked for the DOD in training.
Same here at the original "Shoot" Point Blank in Cincinnati. Went to another gun shop and the only shotgun they had left was a big 'ol used trap shooter. Only one AR and no 9mm or 556/223 ammo (not even hollow points). I was supposed to pick up Glock 26 gen3 lower, but I was "delayed" until next Wednesday (background check)?!
Arizona...ammo is below low in all stores... bass and cabelas are out of most ammo local shops are dry ! Going out Sunday with the family zeroing at 200
NYS requires a purchase coupon linked to your pistol permit to buy a handgun. The coupon is issued through the sheriff's office. Our Sheriff's Office stopped issuing coupons a week ago, through at least ( no guarantee it will end on ) May 1st. That means that no handguns can be bought or sold, unless you're a police officer buying the gun on your badge. For essentially six weeks. Incredible.
The only scary thing about this is I do not even want to think about all those people buying guns that have no idea how to even use them or are trained to use them.
tries to buy a gun.. finds out I need ID. goes home. gets ID. Returns and finds there is a 15 day waiting period. Comes back in 15 days and the guy behind the counter says the "NICS" system is down. I scream NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! just like when Drumpf won and cry as freshly released criminals break into my house and steal my last roll of toilet paper.
I have personally had people ( previously quite anti gun) ask about buying a gun and learning. Funny how the second they realize that government can’t or won’t save them they start trying to save themselves.
I Live up in WA state, and it is almost impossible to get ammo, sportsman's Wearhouse was picked clean, and people are saying that every store in the state is out, I had to but 22. LR because that was the local pawn shop had left.
ATF is delaying over half the BG checks and giving dates for delays as far out as Apr. 15th today. That's well beyond their legally required delay period. Saddle River Range in Conroe, TX has been able to restock guns and ammo through creative means but it's getting harder daily. Our GM has been taking road trips throughout TX to pick up more ammo.
my local gun shop sold all their inventory and ammo , they even sold outa mosin nagant rifles ,... unbelievable , stay safe ,stay healthy , time for me to do some reloading
Most of the gun stores have guns just no ammo. Big sellers have been pistols and shotguns. I was at this gun store consigning some guns that I think are going to sell quick that I've been wanting to sell for a while. anyway this woman came up to the counter asking if they had 9mm because she just bought a nine-millimeter pistol and can't find ammo. They told her that they are out of the nine MMO and I just looked at her and he said if you're just now getting into guns you're going to be struggling to find ammo. I advised her on some websites that I usually shop at for buying bulk 9 mm purchases and she wrote them down and she said thank you for the information. Seriously people if you're just now buying a gun you already behind the curve. I remember the shortage of 2012 and I'll never be short on ammo ever. Oh...the same lady was even asking about making your own ammo and I told her right now supplies are hard to find for that as well.
I literally had someone tell me they hate guns, but in the very next breath said they were going to buy one and asked for advice! I told them if they hate guns, and had not shot much/if at all, then they needed to get pepper spray and a bat. At least they wouldn’t hurt themselves.
Let’s not forget, we can thank the NRA for NICS. They also had a hand in the ‘34 NFA and ‘86 GCA bans. GOA actually fights for us, not fancy suits.

So that's where I'm at: coincidentally only a step or two ahead of the people going to buy their first right now.
Ppl are in a buying frenzy bc they think the SHTF is lurking just around the corner.
@alan wake did I say that? (Hint: No)

This is off the charts gun purchasing. Nothing even close.
“another rifle, another carry gun, more ammo?”
I could see the light bulb turn on when I gave her credit last night for stocking up on the essential provisions and giving me the chance to buy enough firearms for even the extended family.
Says the guy creating an armory that he’s never had to implement in any governmental crisis..........
Ryan Wilson
Not worried about the government OR folks like yourself
Deployed around the world and seen the strife firsthand. Once you have no means to fight.... you get turned into a pawn. I choose my own path
Cant thank you enough for what u do brother🤘🙏
Double glasses on hat...extra tactical
We don't seem to have a problem or shortage here in Virginia... We had our panic buying a couple of months ago, it was from a different type of virus called liberalism. Seriously, I've been to 3 different guns stores in the last week and they are business as usual, plenty of guns and ammo.
Your government was bought up by Bloomturd.
Same in Ohio, KB. Gun shops getting wiped out of stock, ammo flying off of the shelves. Getting hard to buy ammo (especially bulk) on line. Now, those that scream gun control scream to buy a gun! Stay Hard. Thanks for your work. JWW 82nd Airborne
People panic buy when they are scared and unprepared. This should be a wake up call to many.
Grandpa, what did u do during the great epidemic known as the Kung Flu? Well junior, I shared dank memes with my homies.
I m a Pennsylvanian and I M PISSED that ALL OF A SUDDEN people are so quick to put the constitution away after a month ago they where quoting the bill of rights but now we are sacrificing our freedoms so easily? Sorry brother I really am pissed about this nonsense
You are absolutely correct!
This is a constitutional shit show!
Me: I always wear eye protection.
Kotaboy: Hold my beard.
Glad to see you still working.
When the truck drivers get sick we are screwed. Three days and the food will be gone. It is three months before summer arrives and this virus 🦠 will die out. This country boy will survive. Hopefully.

I think everybody should own firearms. I just think it's funny that a lot of these people buying her first firearm down or getting mad because they can't go home with it right away and they're the ones that voted for us to have longer waiting periods and also voted for us not to be able to to have firearms.
Yep my gun shops in Michigan are empty they weren’t last weekend
The Media has renamed the virus, " The Kung Flu." I love it.
CCP virus too.
Love that range. Helpful people and great classes.
Hope all these new gunners take the time to practice safety and learn how the gun functions
no you don't most of the new ones are socialists and communists. you hope they feel better now and just go put them in the closet in their safe space ;)
Maxxis Minion , better yet you hope they change their minds about gun control .
Brother.. they closed my favorite gun shop until further notice yesterday at 5!! Ahhhh
I can understand why..for the employees health. But I'm good and prepping brass.... cleaning up bench. Life goes on.
Cant even by a gun in Idaho right now. Systems down. In other states as well. Background checks are a Complete Violation of are 2nd Amendment rights "Period" Shall Not Be Infringed Upon!!
@@11B30Inf Hell yeah brother, tell it like it is!
100% agree shall not be infringed
@@11B30Inf These morons remind me of that christmas movie where Arnold and Sinbad were trying to buy the turboman on christmas eve.
I was @ Bass Pro Shops in Kansas City, there is NO .223, 5.56 .22, 9 mm, 20 ga. .45 ammo or reloading powder and supplies. There was a line of 20 people to purchase guns, when I left the store @ 6 P.M. today
Oh cool! Didn’t know you were in NC! I live in Charlotte. Haven’t been to point blank but maybe I should stop by and take a look at what they have.
Wife has purchased plenty of firearms in the past, she went to Academy Sports the other day, to purchase a S&W 380EZ Performance Center
@@Athonite Indeed.
Kotaboy32 Tactical: At this stage, I'm only gonna test my ammo one way. And, that is the thing I never want to do.

Should stop giving an anti 2a company money....
I agree 1000%. Plus, the last time I purchased a shotgun at Walmart the clerk banged the long gun on the counter no less than 3 x’s. These people do not know proper firearms etiquette of handling firearms. Let alone the paperwork involved for legally selling them.
Do they do a background check on shotguns or can I buy one this week if I want to excuse my ignorance
Pretty sure you will need the background check.
my local sporting goods store has plenty of guns they also got more 9mm in stock yesterday still had some today surprised me.
Billy Walker I usually can get a check in less than one minute. And i'm a regular Joe.,that also was before all this Kung flu shit.
300 Blk was one of the only calibers left on the ammo rack.
If u don’t have a gun and ammo now ur too late lol
Had to subscribe! I'm minutes away. Good content, keep us posted. Thanks
The liquor aisle and gun shop display cases are my favorite things to paruse.
Thanks, look forward to your upcoming videos
Saw a bumper sticker:
he who hath bread with no gun...
hath no bread.
I live in Illinois and I think point blank was the only gun shop that wasn’t raising ammo prices!
Good to see a youtuber from my area... be blessed
Arizona...ammo is below low in all stores... bass and cabelas are out of most ammo local shops are dry ! Going out Sunday with the family zeroing at 200
Oh this is going to go down in history.....
Did you see HR 5717 from GA shit is insanity
Hank that thinks the Island of Guam floats.
tries to buy a gun.. finds out I need ID. goes home.
2012 was terrible but one lesson was learned. Always keep around a .40 because when things get cray cray .40 is still available lol
I have personally had people ( previously quite anti gun) ask about buying a gun and learning. Funny how the second they realize that government can’t or won’t save them they start trying to save themselves.
No worries here... been stocking up goodies for a long time. Keep safe out there.
NOTICE: Any house designated with a Bernie Sanders sign is gun free and welcomes you to take half of their stuff.
It’s going to get worse.
Probably, nothing we can do, grab a shovel
I Live up in WA state, and it is almost impossible to get ammo, sportsman's Wearhouse was picked clean, and people are saying that every store in the state is out, I had to but 22. LR because that was the local pawn shop had left.
Pick-up some ammo while you're there! Every online website is almost out...
Palmeto state armory raised prices $100 on 1,000 lot of ammo. Across the board PMC bronze 223 is $399.99 for 1,000 . Check it out.
my local gun shop sold all their inventory and ammo , they even sold outa mosin nagant rifles ,... unbelievable , stay safe ,stay healthy , time for me to do some reloading
Great video, thanks for the update. Keep the content coming
And just like that all the preppers aren't so crazy after all. I am totally relaxed at home with plenty of stuff. No running around for me...
Oh...the same lady was even asking about making your own ammo and I told her right now supplies are hard to find for that as well.
stay ready so you don't have to get ready 🥳🥳🥳🥳
I literally had someone tell me they hate guns, but in the very next breath said they were going to buy one and asked for advice! I told them if they hate guns, and had not shot much/if at all, then they needed to get pepper spray and a bat. At least they wouldn’t hurt themselves.
