+Tami Torossian Hahaha :D My two most used ingredients by far!
adding a touch of nutmeg to this really gives them that old fashioned cake donut flavor. Love love love this recipe!

Because flax seed wrote in your milk .... and thanks alot for this recipe i love it alot soo easy and quick 😍❤️and searched alot for somithing like that without suger and just date to made it,,, also for topping i will use low carb jam or some honey or nothing which that date is enough for sweetness and flavor😍👌💕❤️❤️❤️perfect

💗Yummm, i made it thank you soo much 💗 I put 1/2 tsp cinnamon with oat flour and eat it warm with maple syrup 🍁poured over it "heaven in your mouth"
Oh that sounds AMAZING😋😋 Great idea, perfect for fall too!
I think the lucuma looks pretty !
+WholeVeganliving I finally found a use for that stuff! I've had it for forever, it's pretty neat.
Do I have to use the tapioca starch? If so, are there any substitutes I can use? These look absolutely delicious! :)
cwilm corn starch or arrowroot are interchangeable with tapioca starch in weight and texture
I try this recipe and the test it's incredible you are really talented
I'm so happy you liked them🍩🤗 Thanks for the feedback!
so simple i love it!!! I want to try the one with the tapioca starch!!! :)
+2 Healthy Fit Vegans The tapioca starch coated it so well, looked just like the real thing!
My mouth is watering!
+ItzaMeylin LOL those close ups :D
You recipes ingredients are so creative.
Aww thank you for coming over here to check them out Geraldine
You are welcome ♥.
Superb. Gratitude. Neeeeeddddd ,
Any sub for tapioca?! That will still help with consistency? Want to avoid cassava, it’s poison.
Corn starch or arrowroot would work instead!
@@FeastingonFruit much gratitude I appreciate you yet avoiding heavy starches/complex carbs. Yeah maybe the corn yet these all without a certain process, won’t digest well in our systems, guess In powder form and because not using much it’s better though. Love the recipe looking forward to making it happen in some way
THIS IS AWESOME!!! I LOVE U
Love you too
You said these are oil free. What are you spraying on your silicone tray?
Hey are you from texas? Btw thanks for the awesome recipe!
I am not, Florida actually! Thanks Judy💚
LOVE DOUGHNUTS!! ^.^
+Sheena Brown Me too! Something about them is just fun!
May I ask how do they feel compared to normal donuts? Are they elastic enough? Since you didn't use xantan gum i'm just curious :)
Also did you go for powders cause glaze would be too heavy or you think it'll ruin the flavor?
Last question, does baking time change if I make standard size instead?
Damn just noticed the video is old so probably won't get any answers
The texture is very similar to a baked donut, but you won't get that super gluten-like elasticity without using yeast. No I think glaze would be delicious here! They can definitely handle it😋 And yes, the baking time would be longer for full size, about 25-30 minutes. Hope that helps😊
I'm allergic to oats, could you recommend another flour? >< these look so yummy
+Kosho Belton Well if you aren't GF, then all purpose or wheat will be fine. Otherwise I would try a GF blend.
+Kosho Belton Here is another donut recipe form a little while ago without oat flour if you want: www.feastingonfruit.com/cinnamon-coconut-sugar-donuts/
These came out good for me but I wish they where a little fluffier and less cake like. Any tips?
Hm well they are cake donuts, for that fluffiness I think you're after you will have to try a yeasted donut recipe :)
@@FeastingonFruit never mind if you have to add oil etc! I like this healthy recipe. I might try adding a bit more liquid to see what happens.
What can i use instead the tapioca? Can i use corn starch?
Yes that will work!
🍩 🍩 🍩 nom nom
+WholeVeganliving :)
Hi! I really want to try these out but I was wondering if I could use whole wheat flour instead of oat flour?
I haven't tested it personally, but should be fine! You won't need the tapioca starch in that case :)
I actually tried them today and they were pretty good! I used whole wheat pastry flour and the donuts ended up having a kind of a "flour-ish" taste but I guess it's fine haha. Thanks for the recipe :)
The oat flour will have less of that wheat-y taste, so maybe try them again with oat next time :)
Got it thank you for the response again! It's just that I thought getting a bit of whole grains into some donuts will make these healthier but I'll definitely have to give this a try again! :D
From rolled oats you make oat flour? ? can we baked with quick cooking oats? ?
+Aliza askari yes, you have to put oats in a blender. you have to use a oat flour for the mixture
+Aliza askari Quick oats or rolled oats will work for making oat flour. Just blend them in a high speed blender till they are fine and powdery. Or you can buy oat flour.
I have been putting off buying a donut pan b/c my hubs is against too many kitchen gadgets that I won't use more than once. These little donuts look like something he can take to work. He is that vegan guy at work and they have no problem scarfing down homemade protein snacks etc. ( Protein Rice Krispie bars are the my craze at the moment, now that I am into making sweet stuff. It's just winter here so I can bake again after a hot summer.) Can I bug you for a link to your mini donut pan? I am so all over this!
The uni-taskers as I like to call them. Yes donut pans definitely fall into that category lol! But hey they are pretty cheap and your husband would be the coolest guy at work if he walked in with an entire batch of mini donuts I think :D Oooh protein rice crispy bars? Are those like rice crispy treats + protein powder? I have a major thing for rice crispy treats
You've got to do the rice crispy bars! I do rice syrup+almond butter and vegan choc chips melted on top. Oh yeah and my fav vegan vanilla protein powder, Sunwarrior It will probably fit into your parameters. Play around with it. I can't remember if I told you I want to do a blog, but I am a ways off. I am recovering from spinal fusion surgery=/ Thanks for the links. I ran it by him and he wants me to get the donut pan. I would have anyway=)
PS. I just ordered the one you wish you had--can't wait to get it!
+m.s. mary Yayyy!!! Let me know when you try it out😊
Of course!
God bless your soul ahhhh how can you be so great each time?! ^~^
+AnnieFireLovly Haha aww thank you, that is so sweet
YUM 😻😻
Is it possible to use whole wheat flour or all purpose flour to replace the oat flour?
+Jeanette Narvaez I haven't tried it personally, but I think it will be just fine!
Can I use coconut flour? Also I tried blending the doughnuts and it wouldn't go to that paste consistency you got
Coconut flour won't work here, but I have another recipe that uses coconut flour is you prefer: www.feastingonfruit.com/coconut-flour-donuts/ And for the date paste, what kind of blender are you using?
can I use donut maker? the one that looks like donut panini?
@feastingonfruit can you make more gluten free donuts!! One without dates .THANK U BLESS U 😁
I have! Try these: www.feastingonfruit.com/coconut-donuts/#tasty-recipes-14752
@feastingonfruit how about a all purpose one . Allergic to coconut just like the one in this video a basic donut .just no dates . Using plant based 🥛 milk . I love your pancakes & waffles . Have a BLESSED DAY 🙏🙏🙏❣️
@@alexissweetheart2225 Hm I don't think I have one like that at this point, but if you have a donut pan you can actually bake a cake/cupcake batter in it and make cake donuts that way if you just adjust the bake time a little. Maybe try this recipe: www.feastingonfruit.com/vegan-vanilla-cupcakes/ You can swap the coconut sugar for regular cane sugar, and oil for any other kind of oil. And bake for 20--25, so just a little less!
@@FeastingonFruit made the coconut ones! Without coconut swapped for dried strawberries and oat milk+oatmilk yogurt to swap out canned coconut milk.! Soo yummy.
@@FeastingonFruit CAN YOU MAKE A OAT FLOUR QUICK BREAD ?? SUMTHING TOO SPREAD JAM ON .SINCE YOUR REALLY GOOD AT OAT RECIPES .
Can you do this in a donut maker too?
Should work, yes!
seriously oats and dates, no better combo
+whyoweyou Pretty much what all my recipes are made of :D
never heard of coco-milk powder... what's the difference between that and coconut flour?
MisterSir Hi, don't know if you found out by now, but it's basically dehydrated coconut milk. Think soy or skim milk powder. Some brands are made with milk derivatives, so you have to be careful if you're vegan. Like Natalie said, it has a hint of coconut flavour. In my opinion, it's not as good as regular (canned) coconut milk but it works, in a pinch, as a substitution. Anyway, can't dip donuts in coconut milk so it serves a purpose, I suppose.
thepaintedmirror yeah I found out and bought it. you are right its like coconut milk but much less thick and much weaker taste.
Also where did you buy the vanilla protein powder? ^^
+Kosho Belton You can only get it online here: www.kachava.com/collections/all-products
😍😍😍😍
Would you say that all brown sugar is vegan? Or do some have animal ingredients?
+The Angry Angel Brown sugar is made from white sugar with molasses added, so if the white sugar has been filtered with bone char than no the brown sugar isn't vegan either. Here's a really neat recipe for making your own brown sugar with coconut sugar: thevegan8.com/2016/03/10/how-to-make-homemade-brown-sugar-3-flavors/
+The Angry Angel Or this brand makes vegan brown sugar wholesomesweet.com/product/organic-dark-brown-sugar/
I thought that sugar was naturally brown ._.
And I buy the powdered sugar from the same brand :)
+The Angry Angel Yes I love that brand!
i love your voice!
Haha thank you :D
What can i use as a tapioca flour alternative?
Arrowroot or cornstarch would work too!
I would top my donuts with a vegan powdered sugar. :-)
+Autumn Gwinn Yeah!! That definitely has the most authentic taste :)
Eeek!! My new faaave account😍🙆❤️
+Lemon Life (Deal With It.) Yay!!!
I wish you had pulled one apart so I could see the texture.
There's an inside bite shot on my blog!
But oats are containing gluten...
JESUS.......WHAT A SUPER ULTRA NICE AND BEAUTIFUL GIRL YOU ARE TO BE SO PRETTY AND TO MAKE SUCH NICE FOOD.........
+RonPaulgirls Thank you :)
Pleaseeee, can you give the recipe in grams?? Please😔😔
I haven't had time to go back and convert all my old ones to weight measurements, but if there is a particular ingredient you are stuck on let me know and maybe I can help :)
Use xylitol sugar!
Yep that works too :)
Deadly if dogs get any of it.
those donuts look pretty grim to be honest. also silicone? humm.. not the healthiest material to bake with
I'll take one of each ;D
+Leah M Haha the variety pack for Leah :)
Do I have to use the tapioca starch? If so, are there any substitutes I can use? These look absolutely delicious! :)
+KawaiiStrucked It helps with texture. You can use cornstarch instead of just leave it out.
+Feasting on Fruit Thanks so much! :)
