Hi, thanks for the video. I used the same representing bolts as spiders in RBE2's and the center as a 1D ROD in NX9 but it throws an error "rigid element connectivity" regarding the rigid elements and analysis doesn't converge. I also tried using the Bolt option in NX. I also added AUTOSPC and AUTO MPC=Yes...Since the 3D mesh has 6DOF and the RBE2 has only 2DOF I think there is a problem where the mesh connects. I also suspect that I have rigid body modes because the rigids are not connected as bolts. Can you please help.
I encountered the same on a model. The rigid body modes may be due to instability of the matrix resulting from RBE2 having substantially larger stiffness than the bolts and elements. Th NX Nastran bolt stiffness is calculated based on K= AE/L which should include the shear factor of .90 for circular shape . The highest accuracy of solution may be achieved if the bolts are modeled as an equivalent spring element and the spring forces for the given bolt pattern are resolved based on the center of the pattern stiffness . BTW - the solid elements have only 3-DOF (No rotational stiffness)
Thanks for the clean explanation. Your guides/tutorials are really easy to follow.
Hey
This is a great video, I had got everything I need to complete my research project.
Thank you very much, man.
Hi, can you add some video on how to perform modal analysis and harmonic analysis. Thank You.
Hi Ashwani, have you checked my SOL 103 / 103 RS videos. The automotive bracket and loudspeaker should cover some issues I guess?
Thanks
I love you man. You fucking rock.
Thanks, but I am not that good on guitar ;-)
I meant your videos. Great learning material!
Sure, there will be more on geometry idealization, beam meshing, DMAPs and crash simulation asap

Sure, I am currently on vacation but I need you model to help you

Hi
Terje Rølvåg, This is a great video. Can you send me the model part file (or .step file) or download link.
Thank you very much, man.
My e-mail is tunahanaydogan1@gmail.com
You should have it now ;-)
Can i have the model part
Sure, just mail me your contact info

Can i have the model part
Shure, just send me your email adress (the FEMs are too large but you can have the CAD parts)
Hi, can you send me model part file? my email : newax03@gmail.com
