Hi, thanks for the feedback 👍 I've stopped putting music on my videos now. I thought it would help cover some of the silent moments, but I've had lots of comments saying take them out. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Hi there, thanks for the feedback 👍 I tried background music in a few videos and it didn't go down well. I don't use background music anymore and try to focus on better audio. I'm thinking of doing some more Comms videos so may update any with the annoying music 👍😎
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. I have had so much negative feedback regarding music in my videos that I have stopped adding any.I'm working on some action footage and hope to get some music edited in for dramatic effect 😎👍
@@TacticalMagfed I actually kind of liked the music when you were just explaining, but it did not help me form an opinion about the quality of the audio, because I simply could not hear you talk through the throat mic. Sounds like you should revisit the review sometime, maybe with a newer model? But thanks for this review, I learned a lot.
Bought this a month ago without watching any reviews 🙈 Friend said he could hear me but mumbling a bit. So I'm going to try your trick with removing the spacer. Ohw, great in dept review btw! Thnx!
I know these aren't designed for this but with these devices using a kenwood 2 pin typically used with walkie talkies, how would you go about getting the audio to output to a mini speaker?
Hi there, I just had a look and a number of companies make adapter cables. Try searching for something like "kenwood radio jack audio jack" and you might find something that would work. Hope that helps 😎👍
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. It's been a bit of a learning experience producing YT videos. It has taken a while to get the audio setup and background music just hasn't worked out so I stopped using it. Thanks for the feedback, apologies for the sound quality.
Tried mine out ..is there a way to make my walkie talkie just plain be the amplifier? I feel the only way to communicate with a 3m respirator mask on is wearing two walkie talkies? I wish i could just amplify my voice with a gas mask on with just the one beofeng walkie talky
Hi there, I think I get what you are doing. The problem with using a PMR radio or walkie talkie setup is that by design the radio can only transmit or receive. You would need to make one unit transmit (send your audio from the mic) and receive that audio (play from speaker) which just isn't possible. I haven't seen any settings or options to pass through the mic input to the speaker output to amplify what is said. I have seen dedicated voice amplifiers on Amazon but they would require a different PTT depending on the audio jack to connect the throat mic. My guess would be you would need someone that knew what they were doing to wire the connector for it to work. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Hi there, I was going for the milsim look of the throat mic. I never use VOX during gameplay as part of a team because you have no control over what you transmit over the net. I could be talking to someone next to me on the field and that would be transmitted to the whole team. Having the PTT gives me more control over what and when I transmit on the net.
Hi there, any z-tac PTT will work. I think they are wired similar to peltor. They will not work with any PTT wired for NATO (Earmor\Opsmen will not work with z-tac). Hope that helps 😎👍
Hi there, I'm not sure. Out of the box it will not connect to a PC. You may be able to connect to a pc with the correct cable adapter. I wouldn't know which one you would need though, sorry.
please make test and answer ... there are two peaces that contact that supose to be MIC but there is only one transcuder/MIC in cylindrical thing and othere cylindrical thing is only speaker ? or there is also speaker and mic in one cilidrical thing (then two mic are conectes in series ) Maybe dont even put throatmic on you just hold it in hand and knocks in first and second you will hear diferences if there is only one with mic inside.
Hi there, I haven't tested but because the earpeice is an air tube style it has to have a speaker to transmit the sound. I don't think that there could be a MIC and speaker in the same contact as it would pick up the speaker vibration and transmit if you had VOX turned on. I could be wrong, if I can test it and confirm i'll let you know 👍😎

@@kaziulaz Hi sorry I must have missed this comment, it could also be that the more expensive equipment or military grade gear has a higher specification of internal parts? Z-Tac and others are producing much cheaper equipment for civilian and scenario use so may have cheaper components to keep the costs down maybe?
I had a Ztac headset and for my first headset I realy loved it! After few month some one told me that the Earmor M32 MOD3 is the same price but way better quality. First I didn't belive it. Then I ordered it myself. I was shocked how much better it is! There are some real soldiers which use this. Important is that's u chose the MOD3 from Earmor. Its the newest version.😁maybe you try it yourself in future. Its realy Fascinating 🙈
Mate, at this point with the Chinese market price gouging due to the war in Ukraine it's actually not worth buying any Chinese stuff at all. 3M Peltors with comms are only $80 more expensive than all these cheap Chinese junk headsets. May as well get the actual thing the worlds military uses at this point. Chinese headsets were okay because they were $50. Now they are $150-200 it absolutely isn't worth it.
@@isntimportant I don't fully understand what you are on about, but maybe this is the difference between the US and the EU. I can get these Chinee throat mics for about € 25 (for the sake of comparison, € 25 = $ 25) and the "real thing" from 3M is about 15-20x as expensive. So either you can get a 3M throat mic for $ 100 which is amazing compared to what we pay or you get seriously overcharged for Chinese knock-off versions and should indeed buy the real deal. Sounds like you should be exporting the real stuff to us overseas and we can forward the cheap stuff to you :D
You left out that the clip at the back breaks after about a week of use. Chinese junk. At this point with the price gouging the Chinese market is employing you may as well get proper 3M Peltors or something. There's no point in Chinese knock offs when the price point difference is 10-20% savings for something that is only worth 1% the actual item. Enduring a 99% quality loss for a 99% price reduction is one thing. But when you're enduring a 99% quality loss for a 10-20% price reduction; nah. Just nah.
Hi there, thanks for watching and feeding back. I put this video out about 3 years ago and at the time the price wasn't as high as they are now. I agree the savings buying the Chinese gear doesn't always add up in the market today. My set is still going strong and I haven't had any issues with the clip. I have swapped over to an Earmor headset now and it is much better than the throat mic. Thanks for watching 😎👍
Remove the background music. I can't understand half what you are saying.
