I have been charmed in recent hours by Karliene's cover, and the charm also works perfectly with yours. Gorgeous! As much with your lovely voice as for the serenity and calm that the river brings, and the sound is so good. I have a mischievous smile on my face thinking of a person who had posted a comment under the MarcoMeatball cover video which shocked me, saying that this song was exclusively a women's song. I hope he will also kindly come and listen to your version, and he will realize that giving all his magic to a song is not a matter of genre, but of talent. Wow... you really showed your vocal range and control with this song. You almost sound like you are getting close to opera range of control. Unfortunately this song was short because I would have LOVED to hear more. I iust want to hear more of your voice. Is that to much to ask? Thats a joke. Dont take that as an insult to your skills. Its so shoothing and relaxing. I cant stop singing "Down, down, down, by the river." I have your voice stuck in my head with that line.
Are you self taught? Because the amount of control you have just is incredible. And ofc, you cant forget the scenery and environment. This really is Down by the River.

I am not self taught! I sang for a while without any training, but then I started taking voice lessons and soon I started learning the operatic technique. For over ten years I've studied with great voice teachers, and even performed as a choir member in professional opera productions =)

I had been searching for a male cover that still kept the original tone (for some reason most are metal or rock), and then I found you!! And not even bc I was searching for this, but for your Boromir's Lament song (which I love), so you can see I was pleasently surprised when I learned you are covering bg3's songs. Your voice is lovely, and the simple (and not saying simple is wrong) playing compliment this song so well. Thanks a lot for the work you do, it is lovely.

I'm surprised there aren't cicadas being loud there. The sound here is deafening.
I guess there aren't as many cicadas in Portugal, but they're still here! Although the audio is recorded beforehand, in my little home studio. That way the quality is as good as possible for these videos ;-)
