    The people in the floating villages are mostly Vietnamese. Under prime minister Hun Sen and Hun Manet 40 years ruler there is no close border. Cambodia was invaded and still occupied by communist Vietnam.

    It’s not the Chinese, you know it. I lived in china since 1997 for seven years, and back then Chinese people suffered the severe poverty as many Cambodian today. Dirty places, rivers, slums, smells etc were almost everywhere, including the traffics, it was also impossible to cross the roads.
    Then, by the Chinese government's wishes, all Chinese must be rich and educated within fifty years. Look at China now, it’s so advanced, so clean, and with the traffic order you have to see it. Senchen’s whole town trains, buses, taxis etc. are electric, there is no pollution. China’s revenue in 2024 so far is more than one trillion dollars.
    If a big country like China can do it, a tiny Cambodia can do it too. If there is a will, there will be a way.

      Good insight. In the video I’m just let the villagers talk. According to them, all their problems began when the Chinese corporation came and built the marina.

      why do you deny Chinese imperialism in Cambodia. Its obvious. Are you a paid agent?

      @@MartinNybergAre you a phucking privileged retard? A poor country cannot hope to develop by relying on western pedos to rape their children. It takes money and entrepreneurial spirit to build the necessary infrastructure to nurture a country into modernity. And right now only the Chinese can do it at scale.

      @@MartinNybergnothing gets done in Cambodia without the permission of their government. Cambodia is a sovereign nation, it welcomes investment. Look at all the expats that investment there. They boost the economy and rise the standard of living. They are foreign investor not imperialist. They come with money not guns unlike many westerners countries.. oh no, did I hit a nerve. Now are you a paid agent or just something else? Have a good day.😮😊

    Excellent video, so much better than the typical, cliche "first impressions of...", and "Is it worth it?" videos. And a place like this is so much more appealing to me, than say, Dubai. I'll be in Siem Reap for a few days in February, hope to spend a few hours doing something similar to this.

    Wow... almost everyone speak English 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I just hope that people comes together and clean up their communities. The tour guides speak English so well, they speak English better than some Cambodian who lives in the state.

      Their English surprised me too. Then as I heard the stories about the villages it all made sense.

    I love this buffer. I watched the whole thing and what an amazing experience you are having I’ve been dealing with the Chinese since 1987 and they are brutal. They don’t give a shit about anyone other than themselves. These people need to stay away from the Chinese, but I think it’s impossible. They’re going to invade their country as they are trying to invade the United States. Your videos are amazing and thank God you’re posting these Videos to make people aware of what is actually happening in this world. Love it, my friend

    • @MartinNyberg
      @MartinNyberg Місяць тому

      The Russians don't need land in Ukraine. ITs the largest country on the planet. They are merely attempting global domination and fulfilling the ego of a dictator.

    Truly a great adventure, compelling local guides, fascinating maritime “stilt house” culture, flourishing, peaceful community of various locals along with war refugees... the drama of Chinese geopolitical influence... I’m thinking: maybe the Chinese steal local jobs FOR their citizens... meanwhile the USA outsources, automates, or simply destroys American jobs with inflation . What the American government did with native Americans (kill all the Buffalo to starve free tribes)... it now does to the “Buffalo of the American middle class”-small business. As small business is systematically eradicated, American freedom, independence, and free speech goes with it... Anyway, what a great video & fascinating way of life
