This tutorial is heaven sent. I search the whole internet and could not resolve my live link connection issue until now. Thanks for the video tutorial.
Amazing tutorial. Thanx a ton. This exactly what I was looking for. Just one thing- What do I do to record the scene after connecting through Live Link Cam?
FYI, to anyone new to unreal engine if you keep having it crash every time you open make sure you have no programs using overlays open. For instance, GPU tweak three you have to turn the on screen display off, also inside of Nvidia control panel. You have to have MFAA turned off I’m telling you this because for two months after building my first PC specifically to use on real engine I could never get the program to work and I almost gave up completely until somebody told me to turn both of these things off and for the first time I got to use on real engineso I figured I’d share this
If this tutorial doesn't work for you. Try this way. 1. Let your iPhone and PC link to the same WIFI. 2. Turn off the Windows Firewall. Then just use the official way to connet the iPhone. It work for me.
Thank you for the tutorial! Didn't even know it was possible. I think I'm missing something somewhere. I am unable to see iPhone listed as a source. Don't think I have a VPN and I added the rule for defender. Any suggestions?
hello! was wondering if it works for you with the Unreal VCam app and not the LiveLink Cam? I've tried to follow with your steps, even switched to try with android, used the Virtual Production starter for 5.4.2 to make sure all necessary plug-ins are enabled but still can't connect 😞
Hey @yahbin77. Your device must have a TrueDepth camera, which is available on these models: iPhone: iPhone X or newer. iPad: iPad Pro (3rd generation) or newer.

@HansWurst-wp9gl Your welcome! You can enable the head rotation in the Live Link Face App. You’ll see it around the 3:19 mark on this video.
