Looking forward to using this stitch. Off to find the right fabric. Thanks again for inspiring us all. I too love the bird sounds, spring in the air. Just lovely 😊
I love this stitch. It's so pretty. I've seen Rachel do it too. Again there is a stitch I didn't know and it's a basic one. The back stitch is one that my mother didnt teach me either. I'm realizing that there are many stitches that I've not been taught. I love learning all of these new to me stitches !! Thank you for the challange and new knowledge !!
Great stitch Anne! When I don’t have my tapestry needle close by, I use the back of my needle, entering the stitch with the eye end. Works great and no snagging of other threads or the fabric! Thank you for all your inspiration! 😷🤗🥰❤️
I don't want to play devils advocate here, but, when those kind of stitches are on whatever and they get washed, the stitches will not be symetrical and even. so basically it is for things that never get handled.
Yay a new stitch! Look forward to trying this one. Thanks you💕🐬
This is a beautiful stitch! Hopefully I can figure it out! Another new stitch for me! Good to stretch my skill! Thanks for sharing!

Wow what a gorgeous stitch.
Another Friday, another creative idea, and many fantastic tags to come and be admired.
Love your bird sounds xx
I was going to say exactly the same - sounded like a blackbird 'singingforhissoul'!
Beautiful. The birdsong in your video is lovely, too.
Nice tag Anne, I have done this stitch before and used the other end of the needle to weave through when a blunt needle wasn't handy.
Great tag, thank you Anne.

New stitch that's super easy and fun! TFS the inspiration, Anne!
Simple. Right. Doing it the way you did allows the lovely fabric to stand out as well. And at this point, Anne, all my stitches are blind stitches!😆
That is such a pretty stitch! Thank you Anne for the inspiration!!!!
Lovely, thank you Anne

Oh wow, this is going to be fun x
I love the look of this stitch. I'm in Yorkshire like your tweed. Take care.
I always thought that it was the peking knot that was the forbidden stitch not pekinese stitch
